content editors... wind reduction & noise, simple?

Hey all, is it easy to remove wind noise from sound or am I going to be best in a re shoot...

Is there a program that can remove it or anyone with a program who will charge a small fee to remove it, the gusts are pretty bad and through the whole of the movie.

We shot the film with no added mic, it was on the cuff and we didnīt think even until we arrived home and unloaded the material, then though, oh fuck lol, life huh.

Sensible posts in reply please, thank you and respect to your business etiquette :thumbsup

All the Adobes, Soundtrack Pros, ProTools etc. will NOT be able to clean up wind fully. You will be better of to create the track in the post.:2 cents:

at some point the audio will start to sound artificial, best to use a 'wndsock'

There's really no fixing it, especially if you have dialog.

I've attempted to fix audio for people who've botched it up and never has it been recoverable to the point that I was happy to put a stamp of approval on it.

As I have said, NO software is able to remove the wind fully....Like this guy, he filtered and equalized shit out of it, so you lost most of the wind, but the talkng head also sounds like Donald Duck. I was referring to a professional level sound quality, not a tube clip, where anything goes.

But if that makes you happy then great, who am I to argue with your requirements :thumbsup

it is not easy but maybe a music editor can fix it.

Nope. Not gonna happen. Even if you’ve got a ton of money to throw at it, there’s really no fixing it. Anything you do at remove the wind noise will have an effect on the voice that won’t be anything you want to hear.

lucky the scene hasnīt much chat, just a little at the beginning, while iīm protected by the car and then onto sucking dick, fucking and more cock sucking...

The high pass filtering should work tbh, thank you anyway :thumbsup

....here is even a better solution. Set up a cheap mike at home hook it up to record to something....Push START, then stick you thumb into your mouth and make sucking noises. For actual fucking ....Take a bucket fill it with water and dirt to make a nice mud, then put a rubber glove on make a fist, and record the sound of the fist going in and out of the mud. It makes better " fucking" sound track then regular good fuck :)

then stripe your video with this "sucking" and " fucking"tracks .... " everybody is happy " :thumbsup
