Is Charlie Biggs still in the biz (in fact is he still alive?)

I'm just going through my old contacts and seeing who's still around

Charley Biggs' Chicken is carefully marinated, double-battered, and cooked fresh in our stores every day. A tasty blend of superior seasonings and hot, juicy chicken is always ready for lunch, snack or dinner. When combined with any of our specially blended dipping sauces, the taste of Charley Biggs' Chicken mmmm yummy. wrong Charlie but sounds like a good contact.

You piqued my interest, so I asked Jim South about Charlie's whereabouts, and Jim told me Charlie died some months ago. RIP Charlie Biggs.

Charlie was a legend. RIP

Hey, what's South up to these days? Also you wouldn't happen to know what happen to Mike Esposito(sp?) at Gentlemens video?

Jim has had some health issues the last few months, and now needs oxygen constantly. I saw him Wednesday and was there when Holly Randall interviewed him for her podcast. His mind wanders a bit now, and that wasn't a problem six months ago when we had the big 80th birthday party for him... I think I posted some photos from that on GFY.

He remembered Mike Esposito's name, but couldn't remember what he did or anything. Jim has always had a terrible memory for names, which must've been a problem running a talent agency.

Well we all get older and none of us know how it's going to play out. South and his "Nude Figure Modeling" were the mainstay of the industry. So I'm glad to hear (read) that he's still around even if his mind wanders a bit.

Good ole’ Charlie, we had some fun times. He smoked cigs like a damn chimney. :-(
