Is there a way to make Win 7 believe it's Win 10?
I come from a generation where we didn't throw something in the garbage simply because it's old.
1) I've got an old laptop running Win 7 and it will NOT handle Win 10. Even barebones it chugs or stalls 2) I got to thinking that it would still be a great computer for my music system in my backyard and possibly for my theater room. But everything is Bluetooth. 3) So I purchased a Bluetooth 4.0 Nano USB Adapter. It works great on my Win 10 machines but no go on the old laptop 4) Under Win 7 it sees the devices and connects but zero sound. Trouble shooting says it needs drivers but there are no drivers. Is there anyway to make this work? |

Looks like you can download the driver from this page - https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/d.../ub400/#Driver
or use this direct link - https://static.tp-link.com/2018/2018...400_Driver.zip Here is the "Common problems" page from the FAQ if you get stuck - https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2316/ |
If you continue to use Windows 7 you'll leave you machine open to hackers. There are no more security updates. Try (Zorin, Xubuntu or Mint) Linux.
