I’m reading the autobiography of Lita Ford of the rock group The Runaways. I’m halfway through and I’m shockingly sickened so far. At sixteen she had sex with major rock stars including a threesome at seventeen. Their manager never paid them and they didn’t read a contract. Yet she bought a new car for cash after the group broke up.

Joan Jett was (is?) a lesbian and I’d not heard that before. Three of the Runaways were lesbians but Lita just screwed guys after they bought her a drink.

Eddie Van Halen slept with her right before he met Valerie and I believe she was just seventeen.

I barely remember them but know her name as a great guitarist. Mostly self-taught by copying other musicians, she played bass, too. A female guitarist was rare back then though Heart was just coming up.

I can't believe anyone didn't know Joan Jett is a Lesbian. Also check out The Runaways movie. Kristin Stewart is well cast and it's fun.

About sixty percent through the book and I can’t wait to get back to it. This girl lived life hard so far. I know that she married and had two children but haven’t gotten to that part yet.
