70 of 92 coronavirus cases in Massachusetts linked to Biogen employees

Now they’re fearing that the Coronavirus can be spread via airborne methods and not just physical contact. People who thought this was a minor thing and was being blown out of proportion better think twice now.

I’m banned from outings now.

I'm pretty sure they've known it's spread via airborne methods.

I see you're well informed. This has been known for, i dunno, roughly, month and a half at least.

Are they going to discover now that you can spread it without showing signs of infection, and that incubation is roughly 14 days and you can spread it during those days? Cause when they find this out, they'll be even more shocked. Don't tell them tho, let them discover it.

The state didn’t announce the airborne theory as fact until this occurred. Speculation about it was rampant though.

You refer to the Chinese changing their mind? The news story you never read !

Really informed, aren’t you?

“Chinese state media have backtracked on their claim the deadly coronavirus is airborne.

On February 8 it was announced the virus can spread via aerosol transmission - meaning it can drift through the air for an extended period of time and cause infection if breathed in.

"Aerosol transmission refers to the mixing of the virus with droplets in the air to form aerosols which causes infection after inhalation," Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau deputy head Zeng Qun was quoted as saying by China Daily.

The publication then reversed this claim, saying there is "no definitive answer" whether the virus is airborne.

The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention has also corrected the announcement saying coronavirus was not known to be an airborne virus.”

I tend to believe the CDC.

uh, do you have a link or any information other than sarcasm? Because a month and a half ago a rumour went around about the virus being airborne, but nothing was confirmed.
