They are, but everyone has a credit card these days. They don't pay producers anything for the free joins. The free joins lower the viewshare rate which is calculated as this:

10% of gross revenue / total views = rate

Basically they use the premium content producers provide them to promote their own product/site while not paying a cent for that. And they claim we get extra exposure.. :1orglaugh yeah.. like those freeloaders from shitty countries joining the Premium for free are interested in paysites..

I will be interested to see how many end up with charges from this 'free' offer - They are going to be up and cross sold at every opportunity - They have card numbers so it's single click...

I'd be interested to know the backlash of existing premium members who may cancel, take-up the free month, then try to lock-in a lower rate.

PH must have run the numbers - that the expected churn rate will be less than the uplift i revenue from new members.

We all know very well what they do. Nobody is doubting this. The problem is they use the content of other's for their own promo. They have nothing to lose, they can only profit from this.

They fuck with producers that pump their premium program with exclusive content while doing what you mentioned - harvest emails, gain popularity and possible new members that go from free to paid. ...all this while exposing the valuable content producers offered for their PAID section (to get PAID for that) to millions of free loaders and cheap asses.

No compensation for this since these free users (if they don't renew) lower the rate paid to producers.

Now I see.. To join for free one must click on the banner advertising the free offer. If you go straight to PH premium and join, there is the regular 7-day trial and cc is needed.

So these assholes don't even ask for a CC.. wow...

When you click the banner on PH you can join without a credit card. Takes like 20 seconds to register. You don't even need to verifiy your email address to use PH premium for free.

Now millions of freeloaders from all over the world can freely browse the full porn scenes the producers try to sell on their paysites.

Premium is nothing special, just normal videos but without ads. I can have the same result with my ad blocker

They did not ask for a credit card. Apparently there is a verification email that will go out and maybe that request a credit card number but they say that that email may take awhile to get to you and they give you access right away

I was logged in last night. They have many more content, i found many unlocked full scenes. So not only jizzin without ads.
