I started using SiriusXM
New truck came with it and a 3 months free trial, I turned it on finally, I really love it. I'll pay for this.
What's your favorite channel, I'm on channel 41 right now. 7 is good for a laugh when my wife is riding with me because we both know all the words and sing along! Yes I'm enjoying the shutdown of the country, lower fuel prices and less traffic and getting pushed for faster deliveries! Doing a run from California to Florida, Palm Beach! |
I had the three-month trial recently as well and was not a fan. I only listened to the rock and EDM channels but found the overall quality of the audio was horrible and they kept repeating the same handful of songs over and over.
The worst part is, they will mail you "deals" weekly and call you non-stop in an attempt to get you to sign up. I personally think slacker or pandora are better (and cheaper) options. If you do sign up for their service, be sure to keep an eye out for their renewal cost. A few years ago I received a $300+ charge after forgetting to cancel. |
My ex used to have that and I loved all the comedy stations

mine stays on 27 - Deep Tracks most of the time. Lots of great classic tracks, lots of new found old tracks, some good djs :thumbsup
If something goes on that bores me, like when they did at least 2 full weeks of turning 27 into the "Rush" station I switch down to 26 Classic Vinyl or over to the comedy stations. I have been using xm/sirius for about 12 years steady now. When they end the 3 month trial, call and say you are canceling and they will get you a better deal then the default. . |
I use Amazon music. We have Amazon dots in every room of the house and both garages. I also have it on my PC and laptop. And.. in the car I use it on my cell phone, connected to the car stereo, and it has voice commands... Super easy.
Once price and I can use it every where. |
I was a long time user until Opie & Anthony broke up. Or Anthony was canned, whichever it was. I used to love it.

I still drove around Phoenix, but even in LA it was pretty clear. I love doing this, gives me time to think and see the country, I'm running from LA to Florida with a citrus load right now and I heard that high doses of vitamin C is helpful All I ever deliver is food, recession and pandemic proof. |

Going to upgrade my trucks stereo soon, trying to figure out where I can put a couple 8" sub woofers. I have a couple old Orion Redlines in my garage, they came with life time warranties but I think the company went out of business. They'll fill this cab. I'll have to upgrade the speakers too. I'm stuck with the deck as it's tied into several systems on the truck. |

Nothing like driving all the way across country and not having to spin the dial (or push the scan button - yes, I'm a boomer fuckwads) looking for decent reception. I know, there are other sources of music, I have Amazon music, CDs, USB drives with CD rips, but I still like listening to the radio. Let someone else do up the mix and all that.
I remember, back in the late seventies, driving across Arizona overnight and trying to find a station. Only thing I could pick up at 4 in the morning was some Christian talk show from about 400 miles away, I felt like shooting the radio. Like I say, so nice to have the same station all the way across. They do sometimes play recorded shows without telling you. If you do 24 hours on any of the music stations I have listened to you will hear the same sequence of songs again but still beats the hell out of fuzz, static and send me a dollar and I will send you a touch from the lord. My wife's new Malibu has the satellite radio and full blue tooth and I can use Android Auto. That is a nice setup too. I recently bough a 2018 Ultra Limited and it has blue tooth to the stereo but not from the stereo (meaning I can play the phone through the stereo but have to have wired headphone unless I want to upgrade to the tune of about $400) , I also have a couple of SENA headsets that I can go to the phone directly. I use the sirius app so I have my satellite with me on the bike too. Funny, I won't pay a dime to get TV, I am over the air and free shit for streaming on that but I will spend $50 or so a month to have my tunes and not even think about it, lol. . |
Last time i used it, Sirius & XM were 2 separate companies. Shade45 was the best station.

I have a external hard drive with 1.4 Terra bites of music on it, I run a program to play that at home when I'm working in my garage.
I use Roku at home and on the truck. My wife loves to shop online so she got Amazon prime to get free shipping and get her e books. That comes with Amazon Prime for the TV which has a lot of shows and Amazon music. Plugging your phone into the deck was a pain in the ass, so I saw the sticker that said 3 free months of SiriusXM, so im trying it. I'm going to keep it. I have a 99 road king right now, it's getting a new motor, old one has a hole in the lower casing about the size of a softball, I ride hard. I'm going to get two more bikes, I really want a big dog chopper and another cruiser. Been looking at the new indian Challenger and it's pretty impressive, I'll wait till they make the full tour version, but it has 10 more horse power than the CVO Harley and cost less than 30k. I've rode a road master for a weekend only to find out it had a govener on it that limited it about 80 and I like to cruise at 90 when I'm in the country. So a test ride is in order. I wish the Harley's were a little bigger in size, but we'll see. I'll never get rid of my road king, my daughter wants it. It's the classic with lace wheels , White Walls and leather bags. I even have a tour pack on it that came from the wreaked bike my best friend died on. He loaned it to me right before he died. I'm having it painted to match my bike in Aztec Orange and putting RIP and his road name on the back. |
I made a HA laugh his ass off at a bike event by saying will the owner of a black Harley please come out to the parking lot, your engine is leaking oil.
There were only two bikes out of over 100 that were not black, mine and one other. I've had a black bike, no more |

Ended up on some streets I wasn't allowed on, my Garmin is made for truckers. Garmin was cool, I sent them my unit and they sent me a replacement. New one works perfectly! Love to voice command features! |
