So. Have you put on weight or lost weight so far during lockdown ??
I've heard more people say they have put on some weight, but at the same time spoke to a few who have actually lost weight since they are doing more exercise at home and not sitting behind a desk for 8hrs a day.
I think I'm about 5lbs up but I can usually lose that amount again without having to do too much so I'm not fussed about that. :upsidedow |
+3 kg :(
|
I definitely + weight, but dont know howmuch exactly as i dont have scale at home.
|
Down 10 lbs. Coronavirus for the win. I had it and it was brutal.
|
Same. I never enjoyed gyms. I've always done calisthenics at home.

Stayed the same.

I have gained four pounds.
Before the lockdown I was going to the gym two or three times a day. From August 2019 to January 2020 I had lost thirty or thirty-five lbs. The gym closed before the lock down went into effect, AND it's been raining a bit more than ususual here in Northern California so I haven't been able to cycle as much. We got a new puppy so I've been walking him three times a day. However, all is not lost. I decided to fix my entire front lawn. I ripped out the entire front entry way of my house, removed all of the rock, planted new trees, and put down bark. On the side yard I removed all of the grass (which was mostly weeds), and planted three scrubs. In the process of doing all of this I had to re-design my entire irrigation system which has been interesting. Next I need to remove a large root, lay down weed barrier, and put down more bark. Then I'll actually start on the front lawn itself which doesn't need much work. The weather has been nicer out so I've been cycling every day, about thirty or forty miles. |
Its basically impossible for me to put on any MORE weight, as Im at the limit of what any human body can weigh. That said though, Ive certainly not lost any, because despite the lockdown Ive still been stuffing my face like a pig, and the other night, when there was no food in the house, I ate the plaster from the damp wall by my bed to keep me going...

+ 8 pounds :(
|
Down more than 5lbs due probably to less beer intake daily
|
Up 9lbs to 194. My 501's (35) still fit, and I refuse to move down a notch on my belt, but I need to get back to a real routine.
https://i.postimg.cc/5NVfj5dh/Belt.jpg Been walking throughout Brooklyn, did 10 miles on Saturday, but spent yesterday cooking Easter dinner and it's pouring rain all day today. It's the grazing and bottle of wine after 4pm that's killing me. Lack of discipline, gotta right the ship!!! |

What we really want to know is; how much did you weigh when you worked at Playboy? |

Cycling 30-40 miles a day and gaining weight. You must be chowing down
|
+2kilos :(
|
I thought the lack of sports on tv would mean less beer for me but i'm finding myself watching movies at night with a few beers now.
And today it's warm as shit so be out in garden having a drink. Still think if the usual sports was on my drink intake would be more though. It's more the extra food that has put the 5lbs on me but like i say no real biggie... |

The lack of beer festivals is probably helping as well. |
Lost between 5 - 10 kilos cause first two weeks of lockdown hardly some tasty food and no soda or chocolate, also eating more fruits. Now start some training and get in shape to beat the corona. Only leaving to get some diner from a restaurant and further only fruit and omelette. I want to lose another 10 kilos. I hardly drink alcohol.
|
I stocked up on non-perishable foods, so I wouldn't have to shop as often. But I'm going through them faster than planned. And I normally eat a lot of fresh veggies and protein. Also, the ambient stress of the apocalypse makes me want to comfort eat.
So, yeah, def gaining. Just started MyFitnessPal again yesterday. |
I am gaining fat and loosing muscle. It's bad. Fucking open up the gym already.

eating less burgers and tapas, but eating more nibbles, it´s not good staying in 24/7!

I have weights at home and yes I have an app to give guidance for a six pack within 3 months which when used a year ago worked just fine. I have nothing against people who use gyms, but for me I think some people go for the wrong reasons. A lot of people go simply for social media posts. When I want to get my ass in shape i do it at home and no circus surrounding it. Other than going outside for a run of course... |
gaining. muscle only cuz I've been working out like crazy. def prefer working out at home too, plus with a curfew every night there's fuck all else to do once work is done
really miss going dancing though :/ |
Losing weight as they don’t shop around. One store and mostly stuff I don’t or can’t eat. I wanted to be weighed today but forgot. Tomorrow I’ll try and hopefully I have lost ten pounds.
A friend gained weight from being home and eating the wrong foods. But he’s happy so eventually will lose it. |

a quick walk up 9 flights of stairs daily seems to do it for me - staying the same

I think I've lost weight but I was super sick in Feb so might have something to do with it too.
Fresh air = fattening confirmed. |

There is no reason you should be gaining weight just because you stopped going to the gym. Weight loss happens in the kitchen, pay attention to your food and adjust. For me? Nothing out of the ordinary, been maintaining for over a year. Corona/lock down has not changed anything for me. |
