OnlyFans Affiliate Program Vanished

I was wondering why I wasn't receiving notifications of new referred members. Today I tried to go to my referrals page: onlyfans.com/my/referrals

... and I got this:

The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.

What the heck! so what happened to all members I referred for life and to all links I posted?

Oh, and they forgot to remove the FAQ: onlyfans.com/faq/3/17

One thing for sure in this business: always watch your back!

celandina 04-16-2020 08:29 AM

Fuck affiliates, who needs them. They only suck money from website owners.... They are leaches who do NOT even suck out the virus :2 cents: I read here lately that Amazon, PornHub and now OnlyFans are dumping them, also complaints about CCbill, Epoch etc. programs. Good riddance who needs to pay the leeches up to 50 % of your honestly earned revenue. I hope that this trend will continue and the affiliate programs will all go to the same bin VHS cassettes went ....:thumbsup

zijlstravideo 04-16-2020 09:54 AM

Wow. Didn't even notice, I still have a ton of onlyfans links up... What a shitty action.

"You earn 5% of all income made by any user that joins OnlyFans.com via your referral URL"

Terms as of Today:

Quote:

14. Referral Program
14.1 FIL offers a referral program which incentivises Users to introduce to OnlyFans people who are interested in becoming Users. This clause sets out when FIL will pay an Incentive Payment. FIL reserves the right to change the how it pays Incentive Payments but no change will deprive any Users of Incentive Payments already earned under before the changes came into effect:
14.1.1 Users with a valid User Account with OnlyFans can participate;
14.1.2 each User Account has a unique referral URL which allows Users to earn Incentive Payments;
14.1.3 the referred User must use the referring User’s URL and then register with OnlyFans using the same browser that they used to click the referral link;
14.1.4 the referred User has to be someone who has never held a User Account. If the referred User has been or is an existing User FIL will not pay Incentive Payments to the referring User;
14.1.5 FIL will not pay Incentive Payments if the referred User does not join OnlyFans using the correct referral link;
14.1.6 if the referred User then sets up more than one new User Account then the obligation to pay Incentive Payments shall only apply to Commissions earned from the first User Account. The referred User will only be a new User with respect to the first User Account.
14.1.7 Users may not use confusing business practices to impersonate OnlyFans with the intention to refer other Users to receive Incentive Payments.

More information on how the Referral Programme works can be found at: https://onlyfans.com/referrals

plsureking 04-16-2020 10:59 AM

did they change the url of their 'referrals' page? did you try some of your referral links?

if they are no longer paying out referrals, none of the models would get any sales. models have to bring in their own traffic. this doesn't make any sense. sounds like a dev error.

This isn't true.

There's a search feature inside of OF that allows paying members to search profiles.

Many profiles, my own included, don't advertise at all outside of OF and are doing good.

:2 cents::thumbsup

LouiseLloyd 04-16-2020 11:21 AM

Affiliate program still accessable inside of OF.

that's cool, so is the referral program gone? if you're in there you can see right?

I am inside of OF, logged in. Like I described, onlyfans.com/my/referrals gives me a message: page no longer exist.

Can you elaborate on what have you make such a statement that "it is working".

Of course I still give them benefits of the doubts but it is not looking good: link disappeared for me (front end), no notifications for almost 2 months (back end), support didn't reply.

Does any OF affiliate has access to onlyfans.com/my/referrals ?

The referral URLs aren't broken because they are regular profile pages with a querystring appended to them.

onlyfans.com/mysupermodel?ref=111111 is still gonna work even if they stop/break the affiliate program

Absolutely right PH buys affiliates traffic and they are also affiliates of content producers: PH subscribes to content producers' affiliate programs. Among them, the best and most famous producers in the industry.

Only giant websites can exist without affiliates. Or, very small ones that rely solely on social media postings and Clips4sale/Only Fans internal traffic.

Everyone else needs affiliates. Sure you can buy traffic if you're an experienced media buyer and have a substantial budget. But there's still nothing that's more "profitable" than free traffic. In other words, every time an affiliate makes a sale that is one sale I myself, and all my efforts, did not bring in (tube submissions aside). So yeah, give me affiliates!!

Dude I'm happy to see that it still works for you, that gives an indication that the program hasn't stopped, but it isn't working for me anymore!

I tried on Chrome and Firefox. Not only the navigation on the right hand-side doesn't have the menu anymore (referrals), but the URL you just quoted gives me: "page not available, The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed."

If support would kindly reply to me that would preventing me from resorting to post in forums to see what others experience.

Anyone else is in the same shit as I am? I mean with regards to OF! :winkwink:

I did try on different browsers, in incognito sessions. I also tried to delete cookies. I disabled cache when loading the page.

I don't think it is a browser issue: same problems on FF and Chrome + I stopped receiving notifications for new referrals (this flow is unrelated to my browsers).

So I am not the only one! It would be helpful if I could speak to support, anyone has a Skype contact? I tried Twitter and their contact form from within OF. No replies yet.

King Mark 04-16-2020 02:54 PM

Have you been inactive for 30 days?

HairyChick 04-16-2020 03:48 PM

I’ve never been there before and on Chrome and Safari and Firefox was able to see the page fine.

Are you suggesting not logging in to my onlyfans account for 30 days is a plausible explanation to having the referrals page and links disappear with no relevant message on action to take to reactivate that particular feature even though everything else is working fine?

I have been active, others here have said that not being active for 30 days is not preventing them from seeing the referrals page, furthermore I just logged in with my smartphone to further demonstrate that the issue is not browser related: I reproduce it on several browsers, several devices.

I also created a new account and verified the email to see if I could reproduce the issue: same thing happens.

I see that you have updated your signature with a link to onlyfans, nice one.. I would be cautious in promoting a company that can cancel your affiliation without warning nor reason and whose support remain unreachable..

You see I have no choice but to solve this issue: I have referred many members and my links are all over the place including on my tubes and social media profiles.

Since support is not responsive at all I am left with this thread to solve the problem.
We know that the issue occurs to some, but not everyone.

Do those who experience the same issue as me have their bank details filled? Mine aren't submitted. I am taking a blind guess at what could be the cause. Again, it was working fine until maybe 1.5 months ago!

Freedoom 04-17-2020 02:00 AM

Who cares? They pay 5%... Are they the new amazon?

Just asking because I know people who had their account paused for not doing anything for 30 days. It never happened to me so I don't know all the details of the process.

Markul 04-17-2020 06:35 AM

You do have to log in once every 30 days for your account to remain active. But they usually send you a mail as a reminder.

Thanks Klen for sticking up for me, :thumbsup I am not new to the "internet" thing :1orglaugh I have been up and running since 2004.... But I make content and sell it on my own website. GFY member built it for me 2 times. First time in 2004 and a different one did a re built and upgrade in 2016. But you are 100% correct I do NOT go with the flow. I stick to what works for me. And thus I have NO clue about the trends and what worked then and not now.

BTW: My geeks ( a great GFY member team) installed an affiliate program....:" You must have it, they said" and so I did. Then I paid over $1,000 in commissions to this affiliate. Out of curiosity I finally looked at his "tube/blog" type of site and found out he has pirated most of my content ( as well as many other content owners), so I have de facto paid a thief for stealing my content. Suffice to say, I have cut him off.:2 cents:

BTW: I also have a channel on PornHub, so am I fucking affiliate? I hope not ! :1orglaugh

I checked again:

End February 2020 I got an email "You have new referral".
Yesterday I got en automatic email, acknowledging I submitted an inquiry to their support.

Nothing in between! No warning of any sort.

I am sending traffic to them since early February 2019 and have accumulated several signups since. I never had any trouble checking my referrals page up until recently.

I see OnlyFans in Skype, does anyone know if this is a legit contact?
I tried [email protected], their contact form, and their Tweeter account, I want someone at OF to talk to.

I received an email from PornHub Content Partner team 2 days ago:

...
Thanks for reaching out about our Content Partner Program!
The CPP entails that our Partners have a membership subscription pay site and most importantly, an affiliate program, which compensates us in either Revshare or PPS.

I agree that most affiliates are useless and do more bad than good, but not all.

The only good affiliates I can think of are review sites and paysites doing members area upsales. Some of the most important tubes don't even require an affiliate program, so tubes aren't significant affiliates anymore. Small tubes are useless.

Adult blogs and TGPs are done and affiliates who re-watermark videos to upload them are assholes flooding tubes with hundreds of your exlcusive videos to generate 1 fucking sale a day. I would never let any of these pricks use my content for this.

Xhamster and Xvideos (I believe) don't require that and if you want to be on PH you can monetize your content on Premium. Without an affiliate program.

Regarding Pornhub: ATM they have opened Premium to the whole world for free, so that shows how they "value" producers and paysites. :1orglaugh

iceboi 04-17-2020 08:41 PM

I believe you have to connect your bank account before you can become an affiliate so that may be your problem.

It would be a lot better if they paid 5% on all money spent on the site. :2 cents:

We have hundreds signing up each day under our links.

If you have a few big earners under you it's 'worth it". :pimp

This is a good guess, though everything was fine for 1 year. I am still debating with myself weather I want to enter my bank details on a site who's support is nonexistent and who cleared my affiliates without warning.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've never posted until now (I am their affiliate since Feb 2019) and was able to access the referrals page. I just posted something but I do not see the My Referrals menu and the referrals page still shows: The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.

If for nothing else, it is a matter of principle. If they have an affiliate program and let me push traffic to them with the promise of a lifetime commission, then I want it.

+ I work with many content creators who use OF

+ I have their links planted on my sites and social media posts.

+ %age is not everything, I've seen some shady programs promising 50%

Anyhow, if/when this problem gets resolved I'll update this thread with details so it is helpful to the community. Until then my observation is that OF has cleared my affiliates and barred me from their program without warning nor relevant messages, that looks like shaving! Besides, support is silent.

Cool, no wonder you don't need affiliates with deals like those. Probably an old channel but as of now the requirement is that you have an affiliate program PornHub can apply to so they can be an affiliate of yours.

$tandaman 04-18-2020 11:02 AM

If you only knew how aggressive PH and OF models are promoting on reddit...
There are forums where the models are taught by PH support how to spam on reddit their spammy links only to earn few bucks. Reddit NSFW subs became a PH dependency.

What referrals they need?

I have been there about 8 years :2 cents:

FYI: I have said above I had an affiliate program installed but never look at it:1orglaugh

drexl 04-22-2020 08:23 AM

Update: I have been told that I need to submit my ID before I can participate to the program.

This is obviously a new requirement: I have been an affiliate of theirs for over 1 year and I have the list of members I referred up until the point they cut me off.

Not that it doesn't make sense, but it doesn't justify cutting me off with no warning and a page that says "page doesn't exist". Hopefully they didn't clear my referrals.

To be continued.
