How to monetize a free tube site with 2000 daily visits?
 

I have around 2000 daily visitors to a free tube site, with embedded videos from the big tubes, with around 40% coming from rich countries. I have tried to promote awempire and chaturbate, also CrakRevenue "smartlinks", and paid site. In 3 months I have gotten only 1 tiny sale! and around 10 "free members" to chaturbate (that never bought anything), and that is all.

What else is there that WORKS, as this is clearly not working?

What do you do, I should clearly be doing something wrong now.

A few years ago, with less than 400 daily visitors I was able to convert at least 1 new member per week, and they would accumulate with time and the pay would grow. But now it seems that none joins anything...

What should I do?

I have smaller non-English tube sites, two years ago I had decent results with Plugrush and Juicyads, now I have 0.05 dollars with more than ten thousand impressions :(

It's quite hard to monetize a general tube with such low traffic, you need to get more traffic or focus on niche related tubes with targeted traffic.

Just put a few 300x250 banners around your videos and be sure to test their mobile sized ads for your mobile version :thumbsup

You don't need to make sales they pay on every click so at least you'll get some money 😅

Am I mistaken or they don't actually pay for every click and pay with their shitty ecpm? Not 5 cents per 10k impressions, but 5 cents per 1k in best?

2k is a pretty small site for a general tube. I wouldn't really expect much honestly.

Grow the site first. Manage your expectations more realistically also.

OP: a perfectly monetized tube with mostly tier-1 highly-engaged traffic would be happy to make $2.00/1k visitors

An average tube might be happy to get $1.00/1k visits

I have launched tubes that saw as low as $0.75/1k visits

So you can see, that at your traffic level, the difference between well-optimized monetization and average monetization is...a dollar or two per day.

Focus on growing traffic.

That's not bad, but still I don't get it, do they pay for clicks or CPM? Both are in stats.

I don't know what kind of embedded videos the big tubes are sending you but visitors from there are clearly coming to you looking for something and you are clearly not providing it.
Maybe, look at the specific videos that are generating the traffic and try to think like a surfer, what is it they are looking for?

Can you tailor a specific landing page based on referring video to hook the visitor further before sending them to the ref link on a promise?

How to grow traffic faster - by adding more videos or by link exchange? Or do you buy links? Do you target some specific keywords?

I guess your videos are added automatically?

General tubes are hard now days unless you're big. Try niche ones.
