Kings of the Wyld It's a bit like Lord of the Rings mixed with Game of Thrones, except all the heroes are a bit older, fat and out-of-shape. Good stuff!

Currently rereading 'The Stand' by Stephen King, due to the appropriate and timely storyline!

I am reading a book about World War One. I've read and studied WWII for two decades now, but I know very little about World War One. It's been eye opening.

Neuromancer changed my life when I first read it circa end of college.

Did you read The Peripheral before Agency? I've been putting off reading Agency to re-read the book before it. I usually recall books I've read more clearly than I remember The Peripheral for some reason.

Good book. I read a lot of musician/band biographies. Currently reading a collection of Rolling Stone magazine interviews from the late sixties.

I bet that's good, he had one hell of a ride in the early 70's. I'm going to check it out.

If you like My Cross to Bear, I think you'd like John Popper's book Suck and Blow. Great read.

geirlur 04-22-2020 04:03 AM

I started this book last year but haven't read for some months now, but now it's getting more relevant so I definitively should finish it xD

bad habit of mine but i usually don't read, only when i take a train ride abroad. then it must be some random 60-70s european sci-fi novel. the polish and french wrote some great stuff.

Just finished "Children of Dune".

I read this last year but wanted to mention it. "Scores: How I Opened the Hottest Strip Club in New York City, Was Extorted out of Millions by the Gambino Family, and Became One of the Most Successful Mafia Informants in FBI History".
It was really good. I was living near ATL around that time. They mention mafia guys, Leonardo Dicaprio, all the celebs. Tom Arnold was the one they didn't like.
