Adult payments with paypal

If have this guy trying to buy hardlinks on my site.
He insist on paying with paypal and only wants 3 month campaigns + won't share his links untill i provide my paypal.

I've heard people filling in disputes after some while just to get their money back and was wondering how i can avoid such thing?
He only wants to use paypal.

We use paypal all of the time. Just don't put any notes that have to do with adult.

Well I do use it either but when I get emails from an email address like [email protected] I kinda get confused.

I'm pretty sure I ever read on here that there was someone was buying hardlinks with paypal and near the end of the campaign simply filled a dispute and got his money back.

Hardlink buying it's not really "adult transaction" so you are fine with it. A key rule when you work with paypal is to avoid using porn descriptions/urls and you should be fine. Tho, once i received payment containing URL but i automaticly refunded it and it worked.

I guess his biggest issue isn't paypal itself, but that the buyer can 'refund' before the 3 month deal expires.

Yes, this.

I might have used a misleading title, but my concern is that he can simply open a dispute. I can't find the related thread that once was opened on gfy about this shady tactic someone was using.

Only shady tactic which i remember was something related to e-checks.

never had such issue, maybe you are a bit paranoid. does that link send high traffic? if not he probably wants it for SEO purposes and 3 month placement wouldn't help him long-term.

ask him what company he represends and what are his sites. If he can't provide such info, it's probably some shady idiot and you should just block him and move on.

Paypal payment is fine until and unless adult should not be mentioned

Some actually makes you to put a “I will not dispute” oath on the PP note . . . guess it worked for them.

I did ask his company details and sites but he did not needed an invoice and would not provide the links before he got my paypal :upsidedow
3 months won't help him indeed but that is his concern.

He stopped replying when i provided my paypal and requested not to add any adult related info.

Not sure if its just an idiot or what.

my advice would be to accept that in adult you get screwed sometimes. be willing to get screwed working with untrusted new people, in order to learn if they're trustworthy. building a network of trustworthy people to work with, is worth the price you pay getting screwed by the unsavory types. It's just the cost of doing business.

ask him to make it a gift to a family member, you...

gifting cannot be refunded :thumbsup

stick to your guns, you can also find yourself being without a paypal account if this guy acts like a wanker! Even giving him bank details would be best! :2 cents:
