What is the average approximate bandwidth need for a new tube site.

What would you suggest to be the average bandwidth and server needs for a new starting tube in its first 3 months? 200Mbps would be enough?

First 3 months? A few gigs and a vps should do it.

That sounds good.
I updated the question as I forgot to ask if 200 Mbps would be enough.

Hey Klan, on our tube network, every realtime visitor is allocated 2mbps, and we have VOD in HD. That's sufficient for optimal viewing experience. Hope that helps

There's too many factors to have a simple answer. Are you using self-hosted content or is some of it embedded? What are the file sizes and how much traffic are you expecting?

If you're still undecided about your hosting solution, I'll be happy to help :)

200 Mbps should be plenty, unless you plan to buy 100k+ visits per day right away. :thumbsup

You need to make a plan like that you going to host the video, how long the videos are and what quality you going to offer on tube...
