Been checking ebay. Some of the prices are huge though. But yeah some are cracking.

Been looking to buy an arcade machine but while browsing have now too a notion to get myself a pinball machine too.

Sadly the one I wanted was 6 grand :1orglaugh

Video pinball is a thing now. People buy a HD monitor and turn it sideways, and it's oriented like a pinball machine.

What Mr Pheers said. I don't currently own any pinballs. I know people that do, but tbh, they are a huge money drain. Not that they are constantly going wrong, because they are not, but when they do, they take a lot of specialized know how and often expensive and difficult to source parts to get them going again.

Back in the day, when pinballs were in the wild, they had the support network of dealers with the spare parts available easily, if not cheaply. However cost wasn't really an issue as the pinball was earning its keep and generating money for the operator, day in day out. When the pinballs in your garage, not so much...

I would theoretically get myself a virtual pinball at some point in the future, but again, extremely expensive for a full size VP built into a proper pinball chassis.

This is Craig from Wales - He's just a genuine enthusiast in retro games, and he's built a real low budget one, from stuff he had around the house during lockdown...

I may at some point in the future get something thats in between a 'purchased top end', and something small like Craig makes. We shall see... All good adventures for me to have in the future !

Those are Noctua silent fans, the lack of noise is what would drive you crazy.

Yes, although the airflow is a little less than a normal fan. I've upgraded my 3D printers with noctua fans and now I barely hear them running at all.
