I just paid to put it on 3 computers about 2 weeks back so my kids and I could check out the Online stuff.

Nope. It's free...granted you own the game, which you can now get for free. It's another component of the game entirely. There's all sorts of missions. People hold car races. It's a pretty impressive online world, to be honest. My kids and I basically wonder the world together, blowing shit up.

It's not the end of the world. I paid less than $50 for 3 copies. They might have only been $10 each.
