Upgrading script to php 7+
I have a script I've used for years and it only works with php 5 something on my server. Is it a big deal to upgrade a script like this to work with the latest version of php? Or does it depend on the script?
What about this then? Is it possible to port two fields of data to a script like tgpx using a mysql database and scrap the old script? |
Answers to both questions completely depend on the script. I'd talk to a programmer and see what they think.

If it's TGPx then it's already been upgraded to 7 by a board member.

I upgraded TGPX to php7 and made it freely available here: https://www.adultlist.com/adult-webmasters/
(some other scripts done too) |

However, I would advise other webmasters that TGP's do not make any money and that they should channel their energies into making more tube sites for video. Many people have told me that there are not enough tube sites online and there is a real opportunity there. There's no need to broadcast this tidbit either, the last thing anyone wants is for every damn webmaster to jump on the tube bandwagon. |

I admire your noble effort to rectify the terrible lack of tubes :D |
