Amazon Prime Video sucks

They just try to sell you all the movie channels... like HBO etc.... which also suck.

I find it incredibly difficult to figure out which videos I actually have access to. There are a few exclusive shows that I like, but beyond that, I find it unusable.

I really hate services where everywhere you turn is just an up-sell for something else. At a friends house with cable TV and it's like that, 4,000 channels maybe 60 of them work the rest are "click to subscribe".

Every link I click is a paid program. The shipping guarantees aren’t being upheld due to the coronavirus. Prime used to be a great feature but right now it’s not the best.

My WishList of programs is long but I’m not paying to watch anything. Netflix is my choice for the selection of programs.

You have to click on the slider that says "Prime' on the right hand side. That filters out the non prime movies and other movies you don't have free access to.

One of the neat things about Prime is that you can buy a movie and then you still have access to it without paying for Prime. There are some movies I want to watch and not all of them are on Hulu and Netflix and Prime, so I'm just going to buy them.

Never had this issue. Everything I see I have access to. For the same as a cup of coffee a month lol

No kidding; making Starbucks seem like Walmart.

I tried Prime for a bit, but Netflix is better.

Amazon prime video is €5.99. That's pretty much the average price for a cappuccino at any gas stop in Denmark.

Different pricing in Europe, it's included with Amazon prime, and the whole thing is less than $100 a year.

Content seems mostly accessible from the main screen as well, not seeing much PPV.

brassmonkey 06-08-2020 01:35 AM

streaming is for on the go... not home :2 cents::2 cents:

Den BongaCash 06-08-2020 02:03 AM

Netflix + YouTube is really enough on my TV.

SBJ 06-08-2020 03:00 AM

I do Prime, Netflix, and Hulu. I watch more Prime than anything with Netflix being a close 2nd but then again I tend to watch a ton of older movies, not just the new ones.

you never miss anything :)

pornguy 06-10-2020 05:45 AM

I like it for the most part.

The Truth Hurts 06-10-2020 09:22 AM

Everything you can watch without add-ons has the ✔Prime in the upper right corner.

the one thing that REALLY sucks are the things like Warehouse 13 which is free.. through IMDB TV on Prime... but which has forced not skippable commercials.
No thanks.

Tubevideditor 06-10-2020 10:40 AM

I hate to say it but we buy a lot from Amazon so having Prime just means free, often same day or next delivery delivery. The video stuff is a bonus but yeah, not great although they are showing some live Premiership football now.

nikki99 06-11-2020 06:42 AM

amazon also owe me a book now

Evil Chris 06-11-2020 07:44 AM

I don't mind Prime, but I watch Netflix and HBO a lot more.

Homecoming is a good series. Check it.
