Is your city canceling summer festivals?
 

Here Chicago has canceled all the big festivals sucks

Like every year, going to the LoveFest 6.-8. August

I dont know, i dont really pay attention to big festivals anyway, but it is possible to do them, as soon restriction will drop to 1000 people per event.

Yeah they let these protests go on by criminals for a shitty human being that was a drug addict / drug dealer / home invader/ armed robber (that held a gun to pregnant woman's belly terrorizing her,) but all the tax paying, law abiding citizens have to stay home all summer.

I am on the fireworks committe for the town. We raise $50k each year and put on a all day party and $20k worth of professional fireworks. About 10k people show up each year. This year we have been unable to do any fundraising due to the virus, and the city has yet to give us an answer on if we can do anything.

California has shutdown a ton of big festivals. Even Coachella and Stagecoach are cancelled for 2020.

June 22nd is our new opening date here in Jersey-- It was supposed to be June 15th but now it's the 22nd.

Maybe next year for the festivals but not this year ...

Just noticed there will be festival in benidorm in august. Temping to go there, but question would travel connection exists.

So far our town has cancelled the annual Floatfest in the canal, and the nightly Illuminaqua concert series on the floating stage. I think they've also canceled Canal Days and Food Festival.

I dont think there will be any festivals or concerts in California until 2021.

I wonder if there will be a worse virus than COVID?

Flu 2017/2018 was worse.
