Mentally unstable during COVID 19?

I hear news about adults, kids and others going crazy being stuck inside a home for couple of weeks and not able to socialize, shit, even some of my friends were like i need to get out of the house since they can't stand it. They need to be around people. Some became mentally unstable and started loosing their shit.

Me? Shit, I was born into being alone, I don't mind it, I was mentally strong from early age, to deal with quiet times, and handling being alone and chilling, how about you?

The isolation doesn't bother me so much,we all have to do our part to try to curb it as much as possible.

This job is isolation job anyway, but still one thing is volunteer isolation and another mandatory one.

I didn't mind either - Nothing really changed for me during lockdown except for needing to get food in bulk instead of as required.

Plus, I've been mentally deranged for years anyway... :2 cents:

Nothing changed that much... Me working from home most of the time, like usual.

I do miss the freelance camera job (live streaming sports events) during the weekends.

Like others I spend a lot of time alone working on my sites. But I do miss dating, seeing friends, going to resturaunts, seeing a game.....being inside ALL the time is not healthy. Thank God for my back porch in NJ. LOL

it was horrible when had lockdowns, it was enforced to point where police harassed once when out feeding strays on streets of Manila

I'm good (I live in blameless exile since forever) but the wet dreams are getting more and more painfuly vivid (meaning that I crave female contact) . . .

Same here, I was working from home 2008-2018
But yeah, I've noticed a lot of long time friends anxiety level over the roof!

I was staying home for months even before COVID-19. I'm a misanthrope and I don't like stranger people. So nothing has changed in my life (actually that's why nobody saw me at a single webmaster event).

Finally had some time for Netflix and PS4, so it wasn't that bad :thumbsup

I stopped watching tv series / movies because it's infinite recycling stuff.

Still this corona virus situation is a big stress for everyone. And nothing is surprising in post-depression as well. That's why it's important to support each other right now

I'd support you in an emotional, almost passionate way, Lexi . . .

I get how it can be hard for people, but.......

Let's face it. People have, and are living through much worse conditions that most of us will ever know. So the adults who complain because they are "stuck inside watching netflix" etc only goes so far for me.

Sure i miss the restaurants and going to the game etc, but yeah reality check aswell. It could be worse...
