I am actually considering buying traffic from Fiverr ?!!! Have I totally lost the plot :upsidedow

Anyone ever bought any with any kind of success ? They're all offering me half a million for $10... what was it my mum used to say, if something sound too good... Shoot the fuckers in the face... she was a loving mum, but a little on the harsh side !

OK I will try and not turn this into a huber controversial post lol... A while back (we're only a very very small company, miniature) we took a shot with buying traffic... we chose a company (sorry no names) and pumped for us (remember we're miniature) a decent amount of money into a site...

The traffic we was sold, by an establish traffic broker was to put it bluntly a pile of dog shit... and we spent a whole bunch more than the roll of the dice that Fiverr would be...

So I am taking minimum orders with 4 different providers, the total cost is around £25 (not even $30) it will just be interesting to see what happens... we will be using a unique tracking page/link for each source, so we can see very clearly how the traffic does, from bounce back rate, to time on the site, to pages visited... If it goes tits up, I will only be eating Beans on Toast (I know you American's might not get that) for the whole weekend...

I know the argument that of course our own content could just be a pile of shit, the design of the sites might not work... and has I said we're only a tiny company...

So Yes there's a bunch of sites out there that look way better... there's a whole bunch of better content out there... but the little traffic we do receive through the site does convert... and pretty well, we just don't get enough of it...

Hence why I am searching for other options of where to get traffic from and thought it was worth a punt...

Has I pointed out in my reply (my 2nd post in here) I tried a large established traffic broker, spent a ton of money and the traffic was absolute dog shit... so I am looking at other options, and wondering if anyone else has tried this one before... :Oh crap

Traffic networks will establish the value of their traffic by sending it to the highest converting offers and affiliate programs themselves, and then price it higher than that for buyers.

If you can't outsell the best performing people in your niche, you are going to lose.

"Good traffic" isn't just going to start raking in the sales for you, you are not entitled to anything by having a website with a join link.

Not a meme - Its a picture of a click farm. Each one of those phones on the table has a vpn, and those tables go back to back as far as the eye can see. The girl (And many others like her) are spending all day, for pennies (Or possibly in slavery) going along all the rows of phones clicking on each one in turn 24 hours a day.

Each time she touches a phone, thats a 'click' - Thats your traffic. As much chance of converting and me renouncing my enjoyment of poo and meaning it.

Not too bad if each click is adding a twitter follower, or liking your youtube video or something specific where only numbers count - But as 'traffic' its an utter waste of time.

What exactly were you selling? Prior to buying traffic, what were your conversion ratios like? And from what kind of traffic? And what kind of traffic did you buy from the broker. Lots of variables here bro.

you need to think why it is you want to buy the traffic in the first place -

if its to boost your stats and pat yourself on the back fiverr will be fine - you can even buy a bot foryourself to generate traffic all day as much as you like - in the long term that will be cheaper -

however if you want traffic that is actually going to do something like click ads, or buy something - then the automated bots on fiverr will not give you any joy -

even the ads saying clicky buyer traffic from usa adsense safe - shit like that is not what it sais on the tin -
I tried myself ages ago when I didnt know better - i had a last of traffic, low bounce - nothing else -

If you want search traffic to boost your SEO and CTRs thast something you can do - but it won't be fiverr helping you there.

This wasn't an Affiliate sending us traffic, this was traffic we were paying for, bought from a Traffic Broker... We was assured it was "Good Traffic" not bot traffic... yet the bounce back rate, amount of time spent on the site, and pages visited suggested otherwise... that's my point... so we're trying something else... not saying we're entitled to anything, apart from what we pay for... :thumbsup
