Looking for some advice on how to monetize

Hi, all. I'm not new to webmastering, but I am new to trying to monetize it, so I'm looking for a little advice. I know that I'm not going to get rich overnight, but I'd like to at least cover my hosting costs for now, which is about $50/mo. I've read most of the stuff in the educational series, but it's a little overwhelming to sort out the best way forward.

I've made an investment in a good tube script and a good host with lots of storage, and I've registered several domains, but I'm really torn about whether to go paysite or free tube with ads. I'm not in the content production business, although I suppose I could be but it would take a pretty sizeable investment in cameras and equipment. I'm also thinking about adding black label cams, but I'm not sure I have the traffic to support that.

I'm looking at this as a long-term secondary revenue stream. I'm not expecting to get rich, but I'd like to make a little extra cash on the side. I've tried crackrevenue in the past without much luck.

I've got 3 sites online right now. gentlemenprefermilfs.com gentlemenpreferblacks.com and gentlemenpreferteens.com and they all just have content I scraped from Pornhub. They are all currently free with some cam ads because I'm just trying to build traffic and search hits. As an experiment, I made gentlemenprefermilfs a free site but you have to register an account just to see if I could get people to sign up, and that seems to have been a flop.

So if anybody feels like hand-holding a newbie, I'd appreciate it.

I've tried PPC with crackrevenue and juicyads in the past but got basically zilch because I didn't have enough traffic. Are those better for startup sites? I'm going to have to get into some traffic sharing or something to get traffic up.

Push revshare on cams. You need more content. Long videos.
Integrate live cams onto your site.
This will take a long time to make any money. Maybe years.

You might get lucky if a new program pops up that is not may people are using yet.
I don't think xvideos or pornhub would exist without riding the livejasmine wave.

PPC is only worth it if you traffic is complete crap. Which traffic is getting worse and worse. More poor people online everyday. More bots everyday.

Wait until Elon gets all his satellites up and cheap 3rd world internet.

Well that's along the lines of what I was thinking with maybe a black label cam site, but I just don't know enough about that to know if it's worth it.

I'm sort of between a rock and a hard place on content in terms of hosting vs embedding content. I can get almost unlimited content with embedding from RSS feeds, but the problem is that when files get deleted on Pornhub I have a bunch of broken links on my site, plus end up I losing a lot of traffic to the host site. I like hosting better, but 500GB of host storage will go fast.

porndodo 06-30-2020 04:59 PM

I didn't have enough traffic too!

wankawonk 06-30-2020 09:01 PM

you gotta get approved for an ad network

clickaine approves almost everyone. exoclick is more choosy.

you're gonna want to run native ads, mobile banners, and video sliders. Push notifications and pops if you're comfortable with them.

you're smart not to worry about monetization while you build traffic. Build traffic first. Then monetize it.

PornGrowsOnTrees 06-30-2020 09:05 PM

Nice sites.

You could try the offers in my sig below if you aren't signed up yet.

Crakrevenue has tons of offers, smartlinks, PPL, Rev and much more. Chaturbate is one of the top converting cam site for me. Create a white label based on your site niche and test some crak offers.

Good luck dude ! :)

It is good to start with CPC that is recommended for small to medium budgets.

with traffdaq You can route the traffic however you want between your sites, by creating unlimited campaigns, each with its own targeting options (niche, geos, sources etc.)

You seem nice.

Why do newbies always want to start a tube :(

Dickjagger1 07-02-2020 11:29 AM

Well, I'm not exactly a newbie. I've had lots of sites before. But I am a newbie at trying to monetize it.

The short answer is because that's what the advice in the educational section says - don't do a pay site first. Use tube sites to generate traffic that you feed to your pay site later. I'm open to a pay site if you have some advice on it.

Dickjagger1 07-02-2020 11:33 AM

I have to say I came here for advice, but what I'm finding is a bunch of assholes who want to criticize without offering any advice.

What offers were you running?

You mentioned PPC through us but we work on a CPA basis.

Once you get your traffic up I'd recommend a Smartlink to start and then evaluate :2 cents:

You prob already know this but they see the other successful ones, also been lurking here and there, and notice it's the easiest path to "monetization". :Oh crap

j3rkules 07-03-2020 01:54 AM

You should try smartlinks and check out the ones from CrakRevenue for sure. Also check out MrAdultAffiliate.com for some tips.

:thumbsup

Create a bot which monitors all videos once an hour and if that video goes down it removes the page so that you don't have a load of broken links.

brassmonkey 07-03-2020 04:04 AM

ahh mechbunny... try smaller pics on a grid

I honestly don't even remember, it's been so long now - like 3 years. It may have been SOI or DOI, or maybe CPI. I just can't remember, but I thought it was CPC. It was just banner ads related to whatever niche the site was in. Nowadays I'm just running live cam widgets.

Well again, that's the advice that's given on this site. I would link to it but I'm not allowed to post links. Maybe somebody should change that if it's not true?

Unfortunately, I'm not sure I have to know-how to create a bot like that. Do you have any recommendations on where to start with that?

My banner space is limited on my template, and I'm currently using it all for live cam widgets. Would you recommend a smartlink popunder?

brassmonkey 07-03-2020 08:48 PM

dont listen no prob to me.

Sorry? I'm trying to take in as much as possible. I'm not really sure what you meant by "smaller pics on a grid."
