I would have seen the 'e' as a 'q' because of the tail. However as you said that the second letter was 'p' then that letter had to include the tail, otherwise I wouldn't have known. It is a little unclear on first look.

Valid Interpretation if you write your zeros ( 0 ) with a line to differentiate from letter O
