Maybe I'm an idealist, but anymore it just seems that on every board posts are policed, elitist attitudes are predominant and somebody's always trying to discredit who you are and what you do. I'm tired of it all. Half you motherfuckers are just shit talking real-life rejects with nothing better to do than sit on a message board 24-7 and find some perverted satisfaction in shitting on other people with text. It's pathetic.

This is just a venting post. A post to give a big Fuck you to everyone from everyone else, because we're all fucked up to each other. We all police each other's posts, we all shit on each other.

I always reckon that 50% of the people that post here are just kids with no friends to mix with.

But of the rest their are some great guys here, not me, and we've got a lot of good business form the boards.

What always makes me laugh are the guys who tell you they work 20 hours a day. but have time to post here on every other thread. :1orglaugh

I whore the boards so much on the weekends cuz I'm away from my own comp, where I can do my own work. I work overnights by myself, basically just babysitting equipment, so I tend to post a lot on Fri-Sun.

regardless, the same points apply.

I think I would have the same point of view if I did'nt have to rely on working for the man to survive and I came into this industry back when my gut was telling me to.

But, as I do rely on the boards as another dimension to what I'm trying to do, it's kind of unavoidable to get frustrated when you're elbowing in and you can't be graceful about it.

GFY is for fun, networking and sometimes a big laugh for readers to read the responses from big posters on this forum like the one I just quoted.

Well, I attribute the increase to posting across multiple boards but GFY is always going to be home. Never underestimate the value of viral marketing!

Remember guys, that's an increase in sales but gross versus net are two different things! I'm not on easy street yet. Fuck, there are huge sponsors on here that would probably laugh at my numbers.

I like to do intermittant ads here on GFY, I think it only makes sense to give back and support the hands that feed.

I enjoy GFY alot and it's been both entertaining and very productive. I guess I get out of it only what I'm looking for, most of the time.. I ignore alot of the fluff that y'all piss and moan about :)
