If my plan comes together next week i will be 1 -till X months in Holland, France, Spain, Croatia, Portugal, Turkey, Cyprus. But hard to plan with borders opening en closing.

I am right now sitting in a 1 bedroom with kitchen room at the Westin Laguna Mar in Cancun Mexico.

In two days I'll be sitting in my vacation home at the sea in The Netherlands.. :thumbsup

lucky for me, staying home is perfect every year! The town i live is one of the best party and holiday towns in the world, the sea and beaches are amazing, the nightlife is fantastic and there´s so much to do from water sports to sight seeing on land, I would or could not think of anywhere better.

I did drive down to a friend's place for a long weekend, though. It was nice to get away for a few days.

We bought a 40" camper and spend our weekends there.

Both were superb. Despite we could afford it, for some reason we are not that big travellers. Next year, assuming there'll be no epidemic shit, we'll go to Greece.

Seems like i m gonna support domestic tourism... was thinking about Cyprus, but it's getting worse and worse with corona there. most of all scared to get stuck somewhere abroad

Staying home this year. The risk with COVID and flying is too much for me. It sucks because I wanted to go to Berlin to visit relatives.

Finally got a plane from India to Amsterdam. Think i stay in Holland 3 months, not travel in the EU. After that must look for a non-schengen country somewhere that is open.

Everything looks relatively normal in Holland. haven't seen many mouthmask, people ignore the rules and the weather is good.

Im in Rotterdam. Cases are spiking again here, and they are enforcing mandatory masks in areas of Amsterdam & Rotterdam.

I think the dutch are good in calculating risk :) More counting leads to more cases. But i think the Dutch could be immune Only 27 people younger than 49 died, that is my age group. That means that the change that you get in a serious traffic accident is more likely than you get something bad from the Cojona. 21.000 serious traffic accidents a year (6000 corona deads, +50% happens in elderly homes with underlying disease). Started my year in Memphis, then to Puerto Rico...then cancelled Sedona, Arizona due to covid.

Cancelled my second Puerto Rico trip due to covid.

Last month hiked in upstate NY and visited waterfalls.

Heading to Bar Harbor Maine tomorrow to hike around Acadia National Park.

October takes me to Folly Beach South Carolina for a week long work pow wow.

I feel the need to do something in November and then be done for the year.

We are trying to choose things with the least amount of people and where covid is low...except my October trip. SC has high covid cases. :(

How is it? I've recently been considering that. Thought maybe I should rent one first to see if we even enjoy it.

I definitely want to do some more traveling and that seems the best way to get it done in the US.
