moniq1000 I am sorry to hear you are having issues with us. I am always willing to help out and find a solution. I will review your support ticket and see what happened. There is a reason we asked you to upgrade resources on the server, we don't just push upgrades for the sake of upgrading. As for the site transfer, yes we have always done the manual transfer labor on 1 site for clients moving to M3. After that we do have a small fee per site which is negotiable based on the difficulty of the transfer. I will look things over and update you. Having anyone upset with M3 is not our goal and hasn't been over the 24 plus years we have been doing this.

And about small fees if I pay $25 for each site and I have about 9 ,than better i take a dedi server and somone from fiv migrate for $10 for mee |
just out of curiosity, why not move the sites yourself?
|
So, according to whois 99camgirl.com was regged on 7/29/2020 and is 2 days old.
So, this is a brand new site that is being set up? Not one that is being migrated? Did you check your database credentials and make sure you have them right? That is the most common reason for the error you are seeing. Talk to M3, Chris (Stach14) can get you sorted. . |
Not taking sides here and i am not their customer or any connection, but i find hard to believe that after so many positive reviews and recommendations they would scam you over few $$.Check the error log file, maybe the database credentials are wrong.
|
M3 is good. I vouch for them.
I can't say I understand the specifics of the issue for sure. If it is porting a mysql db and have your php connect to it, it should be straight forward. Give yourself some time to get to know the admin panel and see what Ryan has for you. Best of luck. |

the fact is ,what hapen to mee !:winkwink: |

That the site was running for 3 hours indicates that something changed after it was running. Any chance that you uploaded something after the site was up and running that would have written over your config file with one with bad creds in it? Have you actually gone in via ftp and checked the credentials to make sure they are right? Just trying to help you out here. I have used M3 for close to 20 years and have no real complaints about them. M3. MOJO, Vacares, can't go wrong with any of them as far as I am concerned. . |
Sorry to hear, unfortunately a rogue or poor optimized query on a large table can bring a server down regardless of the resources. Is just a matter of time until the resources are depleted.
https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-b...rver-load.html Restart the vps and the site will come back online, maybe increase the time between cron jobs? However sooner or later you will have to investigate what is eating your ram, but i would advise you to start with the queries. Curious, is your database MyIsam or InnoDb? |

A database connection error means that the program could not connect to the database. 1. Could be credentials. (most common reason) 2. Could be a corrupted database. You can check this by yourself from the M3 control panel. Go to database section. Open up phpmyadmin. Go to your database. Go to operations. Hit check tables. It should tell you if it is corrupted or not. if it is hit repair table. Good luck, I hope you get it all sorted. . |

- Ovh ( dedicate server ) or Soyoustart ( dedicate server ) - buy how many ip's you need for each site ( ONE TIME PAYMENT $3 each ) <- One time ONLY :eek7 - Hire your self a server admin for $50 per month. ( I can refer you to one :thumbsup ) I don't know how many sites you owned but if you cant afford this $50 dedi hosting + $50 server admin per month you will ALWAYS have issue or experience UPSELL from the VPS Hosting when your network will grow  TAKE CONTROL ^^ OF YOUR NETWORK ASAP :D :2 cents: |

You appear to be pissed about the prices that M3 charges for migrations, which is published on their prices list so should not have been a surprise to you. Quote:
You do NOT appear to be trying to get an actual solution to your issue. So, if all you are posting this for is to blast a company that many here deal with everyday then you probably are not going to find much support. If you want to get your site up and running you might find some help. First step would be to get in touch with Chris form M3 who posted in this thread. Have you communicated with him? . |
I am M3's competitor and I can tell you that they are right and you are wrong. You need to slow down and understand what they are trying to explain to you. Nobody is trying to take advantage of you. If they say you need more resources it's because it's TRUE.
Remember, they are actually the experts with experience hosting thousands of sites. You are not. Brad |

The flaunt7 for $4 per month shared Hosting keep all my sites under 1 GB and on m3server 2GB is not enough, somtimes I have 90% usage so I`m going offline I dont care about any stupid comments ,I just need help from any experts ,course I want to move all my sites to VPS!!!! flaunt7 https://imgur.com/Kw1Owmc m3server https://imgur.com/weJfTjT |
M3 always want you pay more, better not migrate is a trash company, and has the bots for speak good.

I am no expert but here is my opinion.
You say that you have 4 cam sites and 3 tubes, all on wordpress with plugins, however,in your screenshot, database usage is only 40MB. I don't know how you do it because on my website, the models table is bigger than this. Maybe you are using a local xml file, which would explain the low database disk usage, i think i saw the option in a demo script for cams, to use xml instead of tables. The two ways are nothing alike, working with databases is not the same as reading a xml file. In your other screenshot, i can see 3% mysql connections so it is obvious that you are using databases. Now depending on the connection limit, this could be a high number, as a database connection should be closed as soon as whatever opened it finished its job. This can be a hint that the job is not completing in time or at all. Because we all know cams needs to be updated via a cron, lets assume that you set your cron to run every 5 minutes, but the script takes 7 minutes to complete (or more). When a table is updated, depending on the table engine, the second cron would find a table lock and it would have to wait 2 minutes until the first cron finishes and release the table. The second cron, will take 7 minutes to complete from the moment it had access to the table, 3 minutes later a third cron finds the table lock and will have to wait 4 minutes until the second cron releases the table, and so on. As you can see, each delay causes a bigger delay. Each job will reserve an amount of memory to complete and i think will use the max memory allowed, set in php.ini, therefore at some point your vps will run out of memory and the db will refuse new connections.Again, this is only a scenario, my opinion on what i think is happening with your website, based on the little information you provided.
