That episode - Metalhead - was filmed within 30 miles of my midden (house) :)

JesseQuinn 08-04-2020 10:31 AM

That was the one that got me as well - It might also be the only one I have seen - I can't remember any of the others....

CaptainHowdy 08-04-2020 01:34 PM

I don't do series.

That's OK. Each one is its own separate story...

Yea, Like Twilight Zone.

Watched an episode of Twilight Zone I had never seen before called "Elegy".
An asteroid is a mortuary where people are frozen in their most ideal time for eternity at death.

Reminded me of my second favorite episode of Black Mirror. San Junipero.

The social media one is basically coming true, all you need to do is mix FICO with facebook.

for real check this show out. no ref link =)

by series I mean episodes released within a season. each episode is independent of any other (tho Black Museum does refer to a lot of them throughout indirectly). there is no continuous story to follow

aside from Cosmos, the best thing I've ever found on nf. Queen of the South was bomb too so would put that in third place tied with Love, Death and Robots

with Black Mirror you can't be twisted slightly darkly and smart and not love this series. or if you don't you're reading too much poetry =p

the White Bear episode is actually difficult to watch because you find out...and then have to decide whether she deserves...no spoilers

ideas about morality and ethics meeting tech that provoke thought sums it up best

Maybe it’s my hearing but I’d much prefer an american accent. The brittish accent is hard to understand

Evil Chris 08-05-2020 08:57 AM

- S04 E02 Arkangel

- S01 E03 The entire history of you

Both of those were excellent. But I think most every episode is extremely well done.

CurrentlySober 08-05-2020 09:50 AM

No one liked Bandersnatch then? The 'Choose Your Own adventure' version on netflix?

that's what I like about this series, it provokes thought but doesn't hit you over the head with it. Men Against Fire is prob the third tied with White Bear as most of the more interesting of all the interesting ones. for me at least. White Christmas hits me hard though, gives me chills. think it's about the idea of being alone with no stimulation

I avoid phone zombie culture (really, it already exists) so Nosedive I got a kick out of. in that world would def par with the woman in the truck

tech and humanity, and how we treat each other

love that series that is not a series

can we all book out to San Junipero for the remainder of 2020?

Paul&John 08-06-2020 12:17 AM

Oh yeah White Christmas was definitely fucked up and San Junipero was amongst the top ones surely.. damn what a great show

drexl 08-06-2020 05:43 AM

the one with the real time dating simulation. You get to actually live through relationships to see where it gets you so that when you come out of the simulation you know what partner is right for you.

Maybe quantum computers will allow us such simulations in the future. Not just for dating ofc.

Sarah_VRPorn 08-06-2020 12:38 PM

San Junipero

Pryda 08-06-2020 03:24 PM

Ah, Black Mirror, such a great series :)

1) San Junipero
2) White Christmas
3) Hang The DJ
4) Be Right Back
5) USS Calister

CourtneyR 08-06-2020 03:50 PM

watch Black Museum (so fucking good and also raises ethical issues even with the protagonist Nish who I'd par with any day of the week she's so neat)

and then White Bear where her punishment for a horrific crime is a crime

now I just piled on to your homework, no lo siento =p

george MH 08-07-2020 12:00 AM

Seems great :thumbsup

Klen 08-07-2020 12:38 AM
