thothub.tv sued and down?

It looks like Deniece “Niece” Waidhofer sued thothub.tv, cloudflare and went after their money sources, chaturbate and bangbros.

Check your DMCA emails lads, also going after their money sources? I'm sure the owner was smart enough to be using fake names on his ad networks...

Got to make it clear that you will honor all legitimate take down requests, and actually do it.

Should be an interesting case... if she wins will this set a new precedent? Will sponsors have to monitor sites that they advertise on?

Wow imagine that, ad networks and programs not allowed anymore to fill the pockets of criminals. World up side down :1orglaugh

Ads did not come from chaturbate, they came from crakrevenue.

They should be able to calculate profits made...maybe hand them over to the girl?

Interesting case, but I think it's reaching too far. Suing Thothub ok. The rest I don't know. Can she sue GoDaddy or Namecheap because he/she bought the domain from there?

I had a model reach out to me to remove her content which came to me via an API feed from a program she was a model on. I think it will start to get out of hand. What if it was an affiliate that buys ads advertising Chaturbate, should they stop the affiliate program?

Will CloudFlare stop offering their services to adult sites?

I hope it gets tossed for the other companies.

The three companies involved are probably loading up on hefty teams of defense attorneys.

Nearly every adult ad network would go out of business if they didn't turn a blind eye to putting ads on overtly pirate sites. There's many a dozen or two high traffic bona fide user-submitted content tube sites out there (PH, XVideos, etc).

That solved few question i was asking my self with all the ONLY FAN LEAK from chaturbate Bio, one wonder if CB was an actual Silent partner of OF.

Well now i know clearly not. :1orglaugh

Hopefuly they removed only fan Leak link from their entire site :thumbsup

I thought i wouldn't live the days to read such story. Times are changing, so do we.

pornlaw 08-07-2020 11:28 PM

a 91-page complaint with 6 attorneys listed -- the model spent a lot of cash on filing that suit...

It will be interesting to see if models are now willing to spend more than the companies did fighting piracy since its more personal for them.

And the fact it's personal might be advantageous in this case. Hope she wins. :thumbsup
