Whats the android equivalent of itunes to easily create playlists etc?

Say I have an iPhone. I rip a CD into iTunes on computer, then create playlists of the tracks I want. It syncs with my iPhone so when I'm in my car using apple carplay, I can play my playlist from my phone via the cars head unit...

What's the equivalent to that with an android instead of iphone and android auto instead of apple carplay?

Not concerned about purchasing music within the app... I only want to rip preexisting physical CDs, and create playlists from them to use via my phone and android auto when my new car arrives...

I did try google, but wondered what you guys would recommend - Thanks in advance X

I use an app called Bits MP3 Player for my offline music, cd rips, etc.

Not sure if it is the best but it does the job it is supposed to do. Has a nice equalizer built in, upped the bass for me quite a bit.

Cheers. Looking at your link, made me realise that google play music has since been updated to enable me to sync my iTunes from my iMac with google play music. Meaning I can just rip to itunes, create playlists in itunes, and upload it automatically into the google play music account for use in the car...

In other words, I was looking for a solution to a problem that had already been solved !

But thanks ! At least I know now why I couldn't find anything on google lol

I use Amazon Music. It's great because it covers all bases for me. I have Alexa dots in nearly every room in the house, on the cell phone, and also on the PC. It's just amazing to say "Amazon, play [insert song or performer here]" and it plays. I also have the Amazon ring that is great for bike rides.

I had Google Play but wasn't using it.
