Visiting Chicago, any local members here?
 

Likely arriving by car next week for 2-3 days. Any suggestions for "must see, must go, must eat at" places in and around the area that are actually open. Thanks in advance.

We have thousands of great restaurants most of the cool outdoor shit is closed due to corona not much to do here this summer

Just came back from Chicago, a couple of days ago. While I am not a big fan of large US cities, Chicago was very nice.

Great for me as a tourist, but the streets downtown were nearly empty, as was the Museums and boat tours.

Cannot imagine how miserable it gets in the winter, but the architecture and riverfront was very nice. Two thumbs up.

Museum of Science and Industry if it's open. Chicago style pizza.

downtown is dead. never seen it like this ever. its because of corona, riots/protestors try the chicago style pizzza (Lou Malnati's ), harolds chicken, maxwell street hotdogs,

green mill, if its open

Basically I purchased a 5 venue pass for the time I was there, and being downtown riverfront, let my eyes and legs guide me. Even visited the free Zoo @ Lincoln Park.
