Looking for Image Editing Pro - Regular Work

Hi,

I am looking for someone that can professionally edit images. I am requiring someone than can touch up, remove blemishes, lighten, tone etc.

I need jobs doing in batches of 20 images per job.

Anonymity and discretion is important.

Can anyone give me a ballpark figure for jobs like this on a regular basis? We currently do the work ourselves but it is taking up too much time.

To get started we would provide 5 sample images which we would need you to edit for say $10. These would be old images for use as a test. If all goes well you get the work.

Looking for quotes.

btw i know there is a buy and sell forum but at this stage i am just putting feelers out and getting prices.

Make a gig on Fivver. Lots of Indians and Pakistanis offering this kind of job for 5 bucks.

I have a good professional designer (she owned maturedesign.com in the beginning of 2000s) and worked for lots of companies here, (she did sites designs and promo for CashManiacs, AE, RoyalCash, Etu-Cash, Real-Bucks and many others, she also did image retouching), so many GFY-ers had business with her. If you are interested, email me at cyberseo@cyberseo.net.

Do you have an example of a before/after you've already had done to get an idea of the picture quality you'd provide and your expectations for the after image?

You would be surprised at some of the request I've gotten to edit really low quality images and the client wants them to look like they we're shot in 4k when they were shot on the original iphone.

I can't provide examples here but the photos used to use a Nikon D5300 which has recently been upgraded. the photos are taken in a studio setup with full lighting.
It's literally a case of examing the images and removing things that shouldn't be there and making them look good for the customers.
Each photoshoot consists of a couple hundred images. We select 20 of the best and would send them for editing.
As mentioned, we currently do all our own work but are looking to pass the work on if it's viable.

Hi you two,

Just need to bump this again as I am struggling to find someone. I posted on freelancer.com and I got 60+ quotes mainly from India.

I tried one of the guys and I thought he was ok but my partner rejected him.
We really need someone that has done newborn photoshoots and knows what works.

I've edited photos with photoshop since 1995. Shooting for ATK I probably edited 6,000 to. 8,000 images a week for 15 years, no problem.

Color correct mostly, I tend to shoot correct exposure. What is it you're looking for? Tattoos pulled off, hair fixed, approach to the eyes cleaned up, logos and other marketing pulled out? Skin and body cleaned up, shaving bumps, scars? Stretch marks?

What is it you need? Do you have good pro shooters? Are you expecting amature lighting made pro in post? See what I'm asking?

IPhone have never shot quality imagery. Shot plenty of models that had iPhones. We would both shoot the same thing and the models were always pissed about the low quality of the iPhone pics compared to the samsung i use.

I think the latest edition from Mac shoots okay though

This gave me the giggles. I started picturing these heavily tatted newborns with stretch marks and razor burn.

Tell me about it. Thing is though, I know there are a lot of talented people here like you and Zuzana. I have been part of this community since 2003 or something.
I tried freelancer and it was not good enough. I dread to think what fiverr would be like.

The photographer we currently use edits her own pictures which are of an extremely high standard and she is very particular about quality.
While the editors on freelancer where excellent and they made multiple revisions for free (and were cheap as chips) she felt they were not of a high enough standard.
To my, untrained eye I thought they were fine but what do I know?

Yeah, if my eyes had skimmed over that single line it is definitely not the kind of pics that I would have assumed were being discussed.

It just tickled me. ;)
