To the point: what's that $30bn number coming from? From the little I know it's totally absurd and far from any reality.
Like me you probably often have people telling you "youre in porn? Oh there's a lot of money in sex" and we all know that's not true!
Of course, there IS money. But if you sum up tubes, paysites and cams, you'll be somewhere around $5bn. More or less if you include or not fake dating and fake whatever.
Ok yes there's money and we're happy to get a share of it, but that's nothing compared to all other industries : energy, banking, weapons, retail, insurances, etc etc any of these businesses are between hundreds and thousands of billions.
I know that our business is a lot about "selling dreams" and "selling experiences" but I'm quite frustrated to read articles how much traffic there is on tubes and sex when I compare to our reality of revenues.
And btw if you're wondering, the Sex games industry (for real games) is between 50 and 70 millions (with a m) yearly. All platforms included, but excluding Japan. It's growing fast, but it's still super small specially compared to the whole gaming industry that's over $140B.
