Does something like this exist and if not, can you suggest a similar alternative?
 

So, Friend of mine in the San Diego area turns 63 on Thursday. I'd like to get her a gift, but don't know her address to get amazon to deliver, or for a florist to send to her etc... Yeah, I could ask her for her address, and she'd tell me without a second thought, but that kinda screws the surprise...

So what I'd like to do is to be able to send her an email with a link or a code in it, that she could then redeem and use locally to her. For example say a $20 Starbucks Voucher or similar?

Basically, I wanna pay at my end, from the UK, then have her benefit instantly in the USA... It doesn't NEED to be starbucks, but that's just a good example. So anything along those lines, that I can pay like $20 or so, and get a code / link I can send her on the 3rd in an email?

I'm just not up on what is available like this, within the current american market.

amazon gift card i think would work.

So go to amazon.com and you can buy her a usa gift card

And that like gives me a code to send her? I wont need an address to physically send a card to?

Yeah, Amazon looking good. Except they send it instantly direct to her, so I have to wait until the 3rd... I can't get a code to send myself, but not the end of the world. I'll prob do that unless anyone else makes any other suggestions before then - Thanks

if you don't give a gift in her name to her fav charity/cause I'm with both above. it's like sending her cash and she can buy what she wants with it

if you want to personalize the gift go to Canva.com and make her a bday card to email to her. you may need to upload your own poo images but you can make some cool stuff with that (free) program

point is to make her feel loved and special, and not have to thank you for a tangible gift she doesn't want or need

Does she have Facebook? Pretty sure you can send gift cards through messenger

You could always send me her first and last name and I can use my public data membership to get her address for you free of charge :) If she's not a drifter the address will be correct

I have done gift certificates to Chilis that way before. I buy the e-gift certificate and then my daughter gets an email and a link to grab it from.

Nah, its cool thanks. I'm just gonna do a voucher tomorrow as suggested, then simply ask her for her address for 'next year' :)
