Niagra, Ontario, Canada?

Should the Canadians open up the land border to Americans, a group of us were thinking of driving up to Niagra Falls.

In light of everything that is happening, I am looking for local recommendations (insight):

Should we stay at a hotel, AirBnB?
What local attractions are open and worth seeing?
Anything outside of the tourist zone, we should take time to see?
Restaurant, food spots?

We are thinking of November - December - January.

Thanks in advance.

Canada-U.S. land border closure extended a month

We are extending non-essential travel restrictions with the United States until October 21st, 2020. We will continue to base our decisions on the best public health advice available to keep Canadians safe.

Yeah... You should visit places with lots of people, shake their hands and go in large groups when possible... All Safe now...

Has Ontario entered the second wave of COVID-19? Top doctor 'unable' to rule it out

I love premature criticism, as much as I can appreciate premature ejaculation. :helpme

#1. No one from our group intends to sneak into Canada during the lock out. When the Canadians feel its safe to open up the land borders, that's when we will visit. :2 cents:

#2. Our small group has remained isolated together, not for a couple of weeks, but for several months. Remaining as a group we are looking for a change of scenery. During the months of November-December-January we are likely to be close enough to the border, that when it opens (should it reopen in a few months), we would like to see Niagra Falls. :2 cents:

With that stated, do any of you locals wish to contribute with some points of interest, etc. It would be sincerely appreciated. :thumbsup

You do not have to cross the border in order to see Niagara Falls, you can see it from your side as well

I'm on the West coast of Canada, but Niagra on the lake was a nice little town not far away from the falls, worth a visit too

Fifty-one years ago Americans landed on the moon. Now we can't even go to Canada.
