Where To Spend $50 A Day On Traffic?

I'm starting a new project with a small time Investor. He wants to spend $50 a day on traffic to his MILF and Swingers websites. Where should we be spending this small amount and, more importantly, how many quality (or non-quality) hits would we get for that amount?

Keywords vary so let's go with 'MILF' and 'Swingers' as examples. This question includes ad buys (banner spots).

Thanks in advance!

Have you never experimented with media buys for your program or rely just on affiliates and seo?

$1500/month isn't exactly a small budget...you can accomplish something with that

buying banners with it would probably be somewhat more effective than tossing it in a pit and burning it but maybe there's better uses for it?

building out legit, professional channels on every bigger tube seems like a good place to start. Or perhaps buying good placements on review/directory/discounts sites. Or, buying "premium" nav-tabs on sites in your niche.

I have done media buys for some of my bigger paysites but this is a new project so hard to tell how well things convert.

We've got the major tubes covered as I am a CPP with all of them. But I like your idea of nav tabs, etc. The issue seems to be tho: where to go to do such deals? There are a ton of ad networks that will sell NTV ads and keyword bidding but as far as specific sites go I guess we will just have to search.

There is an issue with doing ad buys for review sites and link lists unfortunately. Most of those slots are taken by big players repeat buying month after month so it's hard to "get in there" (I'm looking at YOU Porn Dude lol).

As it is for NTV and ad spots, so it is for nav bar and hard link placements, in my experience. Most of the good ones are snapped up very quickly when they become available.

I brokered these for a while, but there was a lot of wasted time chasing deals, imo.

I agree. I experienced the same when buying spots for my sites. However, I never really explored these other options instead focusing on a few key ad buys from trusted sites, like The Hun.

Oh how much fun would online sales be if it were easy, eh? LOL :)

Depends if he wants to spend it on traffic or SEO. He can buy a lot of permanent blog posts on a lot of well-ranked domains for that money ... or he can buy a good chunk of traffic. Could take him quite a lot of time/cash to get any return from bought traffic. But he could take solace in getting his brand out there for the money. He should build bookmarkers that way, which will help SEO.

Then again, he could buy a shitload of permanent and niche targeted blog posts/reviews ... even from sites who aren't advertising they sell them. They should pay big SE dividends in time and should keep delivering that juice when he isn''t paying any more.

Why not do both?

How good and unique is the content?

That will decide the success or failure of any site.
