My first website was in 1994

We were talking about when we built our first websites and I was able to trace my first "adult related" site to 1994, a daily bikini site and a web page design site.

I miss the BBS days. I met so many people that impacted my life for the best and worst. I used to spend 100's of dollars in long-distance calls a month calling 31337 boards.

I ran Vision-X and PCboard software.

Going on IRC #warez1 and getting offered items.. man.. the golden days of life.

What was the domain called?
You know you can get the images and original html from:
https://web.archive.org/

I learned HTML from the employees of the San Diego County Information Department when I was a student employee and built my own site back in 2001
supadupazone.com (I let it expire 10 years ago)

1998 here. Crazy!

shake 09-23-2020 08:16 PM

I can't remember if it was 94 or 95 for me. I remember having to send a fax to register a domain name... Those were the days

I didn't even know what the internet was yet in 1994. I use to sneak on my dads old CB receiver back then and get into some wild shit.

My first interaction with the internet was in 1997 when my boy came to school with porn pics of disney cartoons. Aladdin piping Jazmine down and all that. I had to see where he got them shits from. Was brief af because I didn't know how to monetize it so it was worthless to me. I did a little chatting on AOL and Vibe.com in 1998, but it was nothing too serious. Got laid a few times, but scored better off the net so once again it was kinda pointless.

Then I discovered ebay in 1999. Been cyber hustling one way or another ever since with brief breaks here and there. I was only 16 making grown man money flipping 99 cent store merch starting the bid at $10.

Around 2002ish after beating my meat one day I decided to see wtf that "webmaster" link was at the bottom of them websites...

https://www.thecoli.com/media/nas-re...l?d=1598326384

That was my intro to adult, but I fumbled a lot with no guidance so I use to just spam my referral links everywhere and hit jackpot sometimes. Most my cyber hustling was still outside of adult. Then I discovered GFY in 2006. This place was a goldmine of knowledge for me back then. Was the beginning of the end of this shit, but I still got rich af. Changed my life.

Thank you GFY.

Story time over tho. Go fuck yourselves.

SBJ 09-24-2020 03:08 AM

I learned Basic language in 1983 and had a IBM PC jr but didn't get online until '98. Built my first geocities website in '99 but my 1st dabble with porn was in 2001

MatureKing 09-24-2020 03:14 AM

I can't remember when I make first buck! Damn... Who knows?

celandina 09-24-2020 07:27 AM

I started mine in 1998, BUT since indie flicks were still making a lot of money on home video ( those were the days :thumbsup) I did NOT go "live" with content until 2005.

I've got my first Internet in 1995. It was a 2500 bod phone connection. A 2500 bod! In 1997 I become a senior software developer in a NYC-based company. It was not my personal site, but it was under my control.

yuu.design 09-24-2020 09:17 AM

mmmm, I think mine was in 2002, not sure if it was a landing page for dialer or a kind of girl of the day

CaptainHowdy 09-24-2020 09:33 AM

Just submitted galleries. Sites were too much work.

Porko 09-24-2020 11:30 AM

Created mine in 1999 for a travel agency - then started submitting galleries to thehun.net
Good times..

adultchatpay 09-25-2020 09:58 AM

My first site was a non adult directory site in 98'
I also remember creating drag and drop sites from Geocities in early 2000. lol

MakeMeGrrrrowl 09-25-2020 10:04 AM

First site was in 1999 and was adult. Got some guy out of an AOL chat room to make it for me. Then I learned HTML on a freeking notepad, then dreamweaver, then I became successful and left all that shit to the professionals.

Whew, long time ago.

MaDalton 09-25-2020 10:46 AM

A friend suggested doing a porn site in 1998 - he knew someone who could show us how to set it up, get billing, "organize" content. But then my friend went to study abroad and since I didn't know the other guy, I dropped the idea until 2002.

Sometimes I wonder how those 4 years might have changed my life, for my friend they definitely did - instead of an internet porn king he became professor for indigenous cultures.

Same here, I submitted busty2.com galleries.

I built my first site using Navisoft. About 1996 for my charter business in Miami. No real domain just a subdomain. Put that link everywhere on my promo. Don't think too many knew what it meant. Those were the days of pay by the minute compuserve I think. First porn site was 1999 with ProAdult. First computer was a Sinclair in 1980 learning Basic. Fuck I'm old.

Andreweb 09-27-2020 01:58 AM

I built my first site in simple HTML in 2002 and it was a presentation site for my high school! But my first porn site or should I say cams related site was built in 2010!

MatureKing 09-27-2020 02:00 AM

My buck is our buck

k0nr4d 09-27-2020 02:02 AM

My first website was 1998, so I would have been around 14.
It was about the game grand theft auto.

Marek_Parek 09-28-2020 01:19 AM

Would you ever consider having another try?

Look Chang 09-28-2020 08:13 PM

1998 for my first mainstream site and 2002 for my first adult site.
Then I launched LBFM.net in 2004 which quickly became a very popular Asian adult site. :2 cents:

Lexi BongaCash 09-29-2020 12:49 AM

That's impressive, time flies

BlackCrayon 09-29-2020 07:26 AM

I had my first adult site in 1998 on some free hosting. The earliest site i can find on archive.org is Jan 99 but I know i started before that with no domain on a free host but I can't think of what the url was anymore. So i bought my first domain in November 1998 and took the site from the free host to janeys. It was a celeb site. I would update it once a week and make a new banner once a week with whoever was hot at the moment and the sales would roll in from that one banner mostly. Eventually getting listed in search engines for various celebs and in the yahoo directory and traffic was booming.

I owe it all to some guy who called himself Drew Star. I was using his free hosting for a music site I did for fun and he sent an email saying how much he was making off Adult Check with his ref link so I thought that would be a hell of a lot better than working a shit job in a factory for 9 bucks an hour.

By 2004-2005 it wasn't so easy anymore and I didn't have the motivation to work on it as much so i started doing other things and now, I don't make any money from adult sites (still had some money trickling in from old ccbill stuff and other random sites but decided to cancel the hosting since I was spending more on hosting than I was making).Today I'm still working online full time doing my own thing making six figs a year. Had I done things differently I would of been wealthy a long time ago but I was only 20 years old back in 1998 and didn't take it seriously enough.

CurrentlySober 09-29-2020 08:39 AM

i still cunt a4d2 build a website... :(

1998 for me, but it was supposed to launch in late 1997. The webmaster at that time lost my files and I had to re-send everything. LOL

svet0slav_SR 09-29-2020 02:54 PM

Mine was 1999. OP, your bikini site still up? :winkwink:

I had a 2400 baud modem and it took 1 hour to download 1
Megabyte. Then I got a 24k baud and then 28.8. Damn, people have no idea how we suffered.
