Suggestions for Poor Quality Content
Hi guys, first of all, I'm sorry if there are mistakes in my English.
I import some CSV files downloaded from major tube sites to the database. But I have a hard time dealing with poor quality videos. I don't just mean the image quality of the videos. Ridiculous titles (for example: qwerty, no titles etc), non-English titles, irrelevant videos (man uploaded his dog's video), copyrighted or stolen videos, live stream recordings, useless compilation videos and much more... I'm trying to deal with all this with my own script. I apply some rating, duration, category filters. But the point I come to as a result each time is this: I look at thousands of thumbnails one by one and delete them manually. Carpal tunnel syndromes started on my wrist. What am I missing? I need your opinion on this subject. |
I had same problem but i solved it with one simple trick.

you sound like you´re collecting tonnes of footage and deleting loads, why not work the other way, follow through and use vids that you want to have on your site?
just an idea :2 cents: |
Thank you for the answers. I also have a trick on my mind. Maybe I just need to import lines with actor / actress names. Maybe with this method I can get good quality videos.
NatalieK, it is a good idea. I think I have to decide which channels to follow. |
