Paxum: any Aussies withdrawing via EFT?
Noticed recently that EFT was available again, but I've had two transfers rejected so far.
The first rejection, Paxum told me the beneficiary sort code was wrong, which makes no sense... I've never heard of "sort code" before, and looking up it appears to be related to the UK banking system. So I have no idea how a sort code is relevant to an Australian bank account. I check the beneficiary details profile and see the BSB number field is blank, so I add it in, and try withdrawing again. Once more it's rejected. This time they tell me to remove the BSB number from the account number field, which concerns me, as that may be necessary to successfully send a wire (which has been working fine with BSB+account#) I have another look at the beneficiary details profile, and now there's a new field that's also blank! BSB CODE. I edited the profile less than 12 hours ago, and this field did not appear at that time... I have no idea what BSB CODE is and how it differs to BSB NUMBER. Are they just making this up as they go along? |

I'm sorry but I can't remember your Paxum account ID. Can you please pop me an email with your username so that I can check into this for you? Or post a Ticket ID (if you have one open). AUD EFT and GBP EFT have just been integrated into the system and so if there are any issues we definitely want to look into it ASAP. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Please email me - ruth /at/ paxum dot com |
I haven’t used Paxum, but the UK sort code is basically the same as the BSB number. Sounds like a bit of a blip getting the EFT set up
