You should know better. It would take an act of Congress and a Supreme Court hearing for that to happen here. States rights. It is the reason even Biden has said you can't force people to wear masks. |

God knows what is happening in Europe now. Many countries are closing. I wouldn't be surprised if Britain also

This time, thereīs not a mention of grants, just people with hardly any money and possible lack of food between families over Christmas :Oh crap Itīs sad times for England at least! Iīm pleased to have our PM, closure of regions, here in Spain, itīs not lockdown, but you cannot travel region to region, with state of alarm. Therefore, any region with high statistics like England has become, then lockdown can be situated in a region and not the whole country. |
If possible, it's better to be locked down in good company ... :stoned

So, England goes into lockdown just as Wales comes out of one. Not a very United Kingdom is it?

------------------------------------------------------------------- I hear you, but TBH, even Americans are surprised to learn the UK is even worse for welfare than many of their states. I explained once to a taxi in Vegas how much you get when unemployed in England, he was stunned. Business-wise, more and more people getting used to doing everything online, not saying its better, just is. So should help sales wise. |

Scotland decides a lot what it does or does not do and seems to be heading for independence again. As for the Welsh, no one really cares. I'm so glad I no longer live there. |

In all fairness, its realy 'Lockdown Lite' - Nearly all the stores are still open, all the food places are doing takeaway, kids are still in school, travel isn't prohibited, you can go outside as much as you like etc...
Only real difference is that the pubs are shut. Aside from that, there's no real difference atm... Aside from there being A LOT MORE people all out wandering about... Which is kinda silly... But there yah go... |
You can't fly out of the country. I wonder when that little restriction will be lifted.
