So much traffic my sites break
Google sends so much traffic, I'm not smart enough to keep my sites working.
I want to give up. All of my code is breaking. I'm not smart enough for this. https://imgur.com/a/gz9KeRI if someone smarter than me wants to buy it -- make a nice offer. |
If that is even close to real then you just need move to a host that can manage the servers for you - See sig...

Lol you seriously want to sell sites because they breaking ?
|
send it my way, i can handle it :)
|
If your searches are causing the load, change it to use sphinx or elastic.
Put cloudflare in front of the site if you haven't already. Enable opcache in your php. Set noatime and nodiratime on the filesystem. |

why not sell the traffic? |

.who would have thought If you put the domain up for sale at namecheap, I'll take it for $200 |
I bid $201
|
That is a lot of traffic
|
Yes a lot of traffic but coming from where??
Could be massive bot traffic. |
You guys are really stupid. This is google traffic.
It's easy to check. But one random google update could swipe most of this traffic. |
Are you making money from the traffic? If so, change hosts.

There is no such a thing as too much Google traffic. Good luck finding the fix, k0nr4d gave you some good tips.

I can do nothing but envy you :) Since April you have had 20x traffic growth!?
|
I'll stop your sites from breaking if I can put some of my hard coded ads and links on your site when I'm done. :upsidedow
|
$203 for the domain
|
not trying to sabotage any business here but you guys know that you could do that screen by just right click and inspect? lots of suspicions. if you are having that much hit, you might as well invest a better hosting?
I have 0 traffic and i almost became a maniac always checking analytics. if you have too much, why dont you spare me a few thousand :banana |

Caching is your friend. |

I've had a similar thing happen before when a broker I was buying a large volume of paid traffic from malfunctioned and essentially ddos'd my site by accidentally sending all of the traffic at once.
Had to upgrade servers. |
If you've got a problem with your traffic, just filter off the US, UK, EU traffic and point it my way. I'll share your problem 8)

Handling Gbps of traffic is not a big deal if you know what you are doing. You need to learn more about scaling. Just my 2 cents... :2 cents: |

Consider letting our team build out infrastructure that'll support the load. Reach out if you haven't already gotten in touch.

If you feel like sharing I could use some for my mainstream smoothie blog :)

enable caching on everything.
what konrad said + cloudflare(caching on) + nginx (caching on) + php-fpm (caching on) + mysql + elastic (dont use sphinx , its shit) you have to find bottleneck and add multiple server for it or hire expert and optimize it. lets say mysql is your bottleneck and add multiple mysql servers ., good luck. |
OP must be trolling if not email me at pzw1 @ protonmail.com I've scaled a few of my own big tubes with self hosted videos, much nastier than yours where you embed, and congrats on the great job ranking your sites

The post has been created to brag guys...how narrow minded can you be haha
