Need help from experienced adult webmasters / site owners
 

Dear colleagues,

Hope all of you are fine and survive in these hard times with COVID.

I would like to get some advice from you, so please help me:

We operate our adult paysite: https://happyclips4you.com/ - It's about blowjob handjob and foot fetish videos. We have our own and also have licensed content too on this website.

This is a custom developed site - hosted by an American host provider which is fine and secure. ( TMD ). Video playback is just for members only - at this moment.

So the website is fine, we have currently 500-800 daily visitors, but the sales are very few - and we do not know the MAIN reason(s)....

I would like to get some help / advice from EXPERIENCED site owners, webmasters to please spend some mins to check / review this site, and give us some helpful recommendations on what should we change or improve on this site - to get a much better conversation from visitors to sales. ( to sell membership subscriptions )

All valuable suggestion is highly appreciated.

What's that branding supposed to mean?

"Happy Clips 4 U" makes me feel like I'm about to see cute puppy videos.

Your brand sucks for a name.
You have to market your site. Build it and they will come doesn't really happen unless you are the unicorn.

1. I will choose shorter brandable domain name.
2. Page speed and TTFB is bad.
3. On-page SEO is bad:

500-800 daily is not much. You can't expect many sales with that.

Everybody talks about niche, niche , niche... With a narrow niche content, you will get narrow niche traffic. You need to have unique and more encompassing content, NOT just recycled same and more of the same stuff. Once you have seen one penis spewing a load at a chicks' face you have seen them all....The branding name of course does NOT help either.

- Sitename sucks for branding
- Content looks like 15 year old filler content
- Site is slow and renders terrible

If you want to make money, you should honestly consider doing something else - like a mainstream reviewsite for farmers in russia or something, because if you cant spot whats wrong with your site yourself, you are already WAY behind.

1. Change the name or switch the site to a hairdresser's directory.
2. Get a responsive modern design
3. Send the site to Rabbit's Reviews and do everything they suggest in the review.
4. Sell doughnuts*

Very few sales, what does it mean?
If you make 30-60 sales a month (1-2 per day) , I wouldn't call that a "very few" considering your traffic.
And I would focus on site optimisation and traffic acquiring.

Of course, if you're talking a couple of sales a month, it would be very wise to focus on all the good tips members posted here.

It was an exciting experience to receive negative words about the site name - what I would never have thought..., but because almost everybody suggested it - I will change it soon...

I will going to choose a better name for the site, will use CDN too - to speed up the site. ( which is already responsive, but will check it with our webmasters again... ) will improve SEO, and the content of the site.

I agree, the name sounds like a children story book.

You don't have any traffic. Let's say your site is good and converts at 1/200, meaning that for every 200 people who visit your site one of them will sign up. If you only have 500 visitors a day... That's two joins.

And let's be honest, that site isn't converting at 1:200. :thumbsup

...Yes, the site isn't converting like that. The reality is much much worse. That is why I am here and posted my problem on this platform. Then I got a lot of advice. I am on the way to correct these issues.

By the way, what is the normal / average converting ratio in today's world for a porn site ? 1:500 ?

Foot fetishists (like me too) get horny if watch and feel female feet, soles ect, then would like to cum somehow - in the same time when kissing feet, ect. That's why could be an acceptable option to mix the foot fetish things with handjob, and blowjob.

Right now it looks like a random collection without a clear direction. A lot of the pics look like old, low quality, non-exclusive content. As an affiliate I can tell right away that it won't convert, and I wouldn't send any traffic to it.

As others said there's no such thing as "blowjobs+handjobs+foot fetish". Pick one of them, and create a paysite just for that genre.
You could create two other paysites for the content in the other two genres. Don't focus on those in the future though, only use them as paysites which you offer as bonus sites when someone signs up your main site.

Don't expect anyone to get excited about your old videos. People get excited about new content shot with 4K cameras, with good lighting, with new girls. They can also get excited about unique fetish stuff, even if it's not the highest quality.

If you aren't a god at marketing and getting tons of free traffic, you won't get away with using random old non-exclusive content.
You'll need either amazing quality newly shot content, or just medium quality, but very UNIQUE content.

From your samples the foot fetish stuff looks the most promising and unique. If you have 100 foot fetish videos like that, I'd focus only on those, and create a foot fetish only site. In the free tour create a separate section for every sub-fetish - footjobs, foot fetish fucking, foot fetish domination, foot in pussy, bare feet posing, toe licking, self sucking, foot sniffing, dirty feet, etc, etc. People have specific, unique likes and triggers.

People who are so interested in foot fetish porn that they are willing to pay for it... no, they will never get bored of foot fetish porn. Just like you will never get bored of hamburgers, ice cream, or sex. ;)

They will get bored of your style, yes. They will cancel and move on to the next membership. Even the best paysites' members only stay a member for a few months ON AVERAGE. If they could retain members for one year on average, they would be paying affiliates $100 PPS instead of $30 PPS, and everyone would send their traffic to them.

You have to aim to make your content as various WITHIN a niche as you can, so your members will stay longer. To be honest almost no paysite is good at this. Almost every paysite is producing the same stuff over and over again, only the girl is different.
If every new scene you create had a different "sub-fetish", you should be able to retain the members long. However if every scene follows the same script, such as "girl posing, girl giving a footjob, girl getting fucked with her feet showing", people will get bored quickly.

These days it's easier than ever to see what people are interested in. Just go to any tube site or Clips4Sale, and check the trending videos for a category or keyword. Look for videos which are popular NOT because it's a top porn star in them, but because they are unique / unusual.
If you did such research before producing every video, I think you could be very successful.

Even with that, at any given moment if you look at your paying members, most of them will be new people. You'll always need big inflow of new traffic to keep your number of members steady -- and even more to grow.

There are SOME sites that can serve all genres and people might stay a member for years. But it's impossible for you to compete with them. Videobox, Bang.com, or PornHub Premium -- they have 60.000-150.000 scenes online. A "multi-genre" site with old looking content and 300 scenes won't get enough many members.

I suggest you research your competitiors like manyvids, mfc, onlyfans, find most of your competitiors by doing search like "manyvids alternatives"

Put yourself in customer's shoes. You wouldn't want to type out such a long domain name. Much shorter, ideally no digits.

Better design cause it's dated, less text, more imagery, study the landing pages of brazzers. If you have unique content you've got to press on that or whatever is your unique selling point. Because right now it looks just like any other paysite and there's many of them

I wouldn't say the name sucks. You can literally take a shitty name and make it into something great. That's branding!! Otherwise, I'd say focus on onpage, speed optimization and other technical aspects.
