Need Code Website Help

I’m finishing up my website. The main page is under a slash for a forum. I want to have the website open to the forum. What do I do in cPanel to direct the dot com to go to the forum?

Go to cPanel > redirects

Click add permanent redirect (301)

enter the following:

Page you have: https://www.myurl.com to the forum page https://www.myurl.com/forum
