My favorite author passed away yesterday.

David John Moore Cornwell a.k.a John Le Carre

One of the greatest writers of all time.

First book of his that I read was The Night Manager, and loved it - couldn't really get into the tv series, though. From there, I read his newer stuff and have intended to - but never quite got around to - reading the Smiley's people novels.

I don't read fiction, but he has been mentioned in a James Bond FB group I am in a number of times. RIP.
