WTF - Lots of DMCA requests
Hello,
For the past week my site has been receiving a lot of DMCA requests from lumendatabase, via my google search console. I don't store any videos or photos of the models, I link to the original photo from the chaturbate feed, etc. I would usually get requests for specific urls on my site that included their username for example: https://mysite.com/chaturbate/username But now they are DMCAing my homepage! and other areas that aren't specific to this user, has anyone gotten these? And does this mean google will no longer crawl my homepage? |
You should file a counter-DMCA notice with Google.
:winkwink: |
Counter DMCA, and google will re-instate, part of our daily grind;-)

Basically my plan is to let Google know that I retrieve this information via the chaturbate affiliate program and providing them a link to the affiliate program page. Thank you and happy holidays! |
Yes, Google will block your homepage from SERPS for this.
Consult a lawyer for more perfect response, but it is possible to counter just fine by clicking the counter link Lumen sends you and just truthfully explaining the situation. (I am not an attorney; this is not legal advice.) Be aware, however, that the info you provide may end up public and/or shared with whoever is harassing you. |
Are you embedding the videos photos on your homepage?
|
Are you storing pictures even when she/he is offline?
If you are a legit affiliate, talk with chaturbate support, drop the model page only: yousite.com/chaturbate/modelname/ and file a counter DMCA notice for the other pages, like, category, index etc... Some models are dumb enough and don't know what is a real affiliate site from a site that has stolen their content |
