How is adult billing business going these days? Besides CCBill and Segpay is there anything else worth checking out?

they got their shit together on the backend in the last couple of years. i've done about a dozen custom billing setups with their gateway API. they also have hosted forms now.

Yeah, but why the hell can't CCBill get their client interface & reports to work? We've been there for around 18 years. It's always been buggy but it's gotten worse and worse. It just seems like it's falling apart and nobody there is manning the ship.

Verotel and Epoch also. Reliable (not new, 20 years on the market).

Vendo and Centro Bill are about 6 years on the market, also reliable.

How to be sure that a new billing is reliable?

Been with them since 2005, their reports just haven't worked for me at all since the New Years. I suppose they are 100% on payments but I can't tell what those payments are.

The reports I use work fine. Perhaps you go deeper into the system for data..all good.
I still use Verotel and they're fine too.

I don't know. There are plenty of them out there but I've always been very happy with using CCBill and Segpay.

CCBill are good if you are using them to pay affiliates etc but as with most 3rd party processors, they are expensive

If your turnover is sufficient then your much better off setting up your own merchant account (we did it with these people https://www.emerchantpay.com/ )

Then you only pay around 5% in fees. As opposed to 12 - 15% for ccbill or whatever it is these days
