Anyone have a way of contacting Paypal?
The "Contact Us" section does not work for me because I no longer have
the stupid telephone number that I signed up with. I'm in a loop. I can't change my phone number without first confirming with the original number. Oh and the email option is no longer good enough. Now it has to be email plus a text message. |
Not sure if it still works, but this used to:
Go to: https://www.paypal.com/signin?return...ings&state=%2F Log in If it asks for 2-step, paste that url in again. It used to magically bypass it and let you into settings to turn it off/change your number. |

Paypal's support is non-existing when you need help, so you'd better make sure that you let them know that it's not the case, for example :
Sent them an email and the title should be specifically " I DON'T NEED HELP " ,because based on the first idea,if they see they have to help somebody,they run from it immediately.. You gotta be sneaky |

I had the same problem like I had an old number given I didn't have access to anymore... I found some e-mail and they replied me in only a few hours but I solved the situation before they replied...
What I experienced is if you keep trying to log in after a while the site don't ask for phone verification only captcha verification and I could just simply log in after a few attempts and change my number to a new one without any problem... it's like phone verification is not required all the time but just randomly for some login attempts... but this was 2-3 months ago I don't know what they changed since then, it might ask for verification every single time now |

Good luck with that. I remember last year it took me 3-4 days to finally reach someone, and to this day I'm still not sure where to look for help on the site.
