Hotels in Colombia turn into camming studios to stay afloat during COVID
Always knew I liked Colombia - very creative and I highly doubt North America will adopt such a new way of staying alive during Covid.
Between July and November 2020, the 40-room Hotel Poblado Boutique Medellin in Colombia underwent a $200,000 transformation — with a team replacing all the floors, redecorating rooms and repainting the walls. That sum also included a big investment in technology, such as professional-grade web cameras — because, due to decreased tourism amid the coronavirus pandemic, this hotel has become home to a camming studio for adult entertainers to broadcast live to their followers. This new use has helped keep the hotel afloat financially, and The Post has learned it’s one of three hotels in the city of Medellin, also including the 23-room In House and the 63-room Hotel Poblado Natura, to take this unusual step for survival. https://nypost.com/2021/02/10/colomb...at-amid-covid/ |

Adapting is important. It will be interesting to see what they'll do with those rooms (cam studios) after the covid crisis.

Interesting. Here's some stupid internet guy math. Let's say a 30 room hotel charges $100 per night for room, just for shits n gigs. Ok so let's say 30 cam models book that hotel solid for a week, each earning $350 in a night. Hotel still gets $100 per night, cam model probably gets like $150 at the end of the day. She's safe, staff still has to clean the room and make food and shit.
Basically the fact that porn didn't get into the hotel business makes me depressed and sad, what the hell guys? Why not?? |
