I've been watching. Utterly amazing.

Seven months and 300 million miles and it's going to land automatically because it takes 12 minutes for a radio messge to get from Earth to Mars... The capsule it going to enter the atmosphere of Mars, it will deploy a parachute the size of a baseball field, then fire rockets to hold it stead while a crane lowers the rover onto the surface... OH MY FUCKING GOD AMAZING.

I'm watching. Should be a pretty cool and intense final few mins.

They supposedly have drones on board they can release once it lands on the Martian surface. Can't wait for those videos!!
