Network-Wide Volumetric DDOS Protection Included for all MojoHost Customers

Happy Friday!

MojoHost now has network-level global DDoS protection for every customer, on every server, for every GB of bandwidth the company sells, and it's free!

Most DDoS protection solutions offer the “old” way of temporarily (and infinitely) increasing the bandwidth pipeline to absorb and mitigate DDoS attacks blindly. The website remains online but in a highly inefficient way. That method is part of the reason why DDoS protection is often expensive or cost-prohibitive for individual websites.

MojoHost's innovative solution identifies, filters, and diverts bad traffic in real-time. Instead of individual website owners handling attacks, the unified solution functions at the network-level and is accomplished without additional latency unless under attack. It allows for mitigating attacks of over a terabit!

The monitoring system detects possible DDoS traffic floods and automatically re-routes only the IPs under attack, diverting those requests through a particular funnel. Advanced statistical modeling and automatic management of routes and network peers result in “smart routing”, which is the magic that avoids trading speed for safety and protection. The solution enables blocking attacks closer to where they originate before they even reach the attack target.

is this is a cloudflare type of thing? all traffic goes thru a gateway before redirecting the visitor the proper server?

So we analyze real time traffic data and when a subnet gets attacked we announce it globally to filter the clean traffic and tunnel that to the server.

that's cool. the OP was a little jargony :1orglaugh

i'm doing the same thing on a smaller scale. self-analyzing servers report to a central security server, which then spreads the collective news back to the group.

any network-wide solution is better than running single server security software - and even that is better than cloudflare :1orglaugh

:pimp
