I'm starting to miss things like cinema etc more than clubs/pubs
 

Well maybe not pubs but definitely missing things like going to the cinema now. Not too fussed about the club's at all now to be honest.

Just want to go out for a nice meal is a good restaurant, followed by a trip to the cinema and eat my weight in junk food.

Of course i haven't included a vacation and a couple weeks somewhere in the sunshine but that's too obvious anyway and well......i don't think that will be happening in 2 months. Maybe later on in the year.

As least the things above will be end April/beginning May. For us anyway. Not sure about every other countries "roadmap" to 'normality'...

I have gift cards for a movie theater near me that I was waiting to use once it reopens, but then another company bought the theater and now I can't use my cards :( lol

I miss the pubs! Hanging around with some guys, roll the dices, cold beer...

Last time in cinema i was when they had avengers end game. There is very little movies worth watching so nothing to miss here.

Oh btw - cinemas here are still open. You just need to wear mask while watching, no feed & drinks and 1.5m between you and whoever is going with you.

Maybe thats the reason why I dont miss them :1orglaugh

I'm missing some of my favourite local public toilets... They have been closed for ages... :(

Oh don't get me wrong, my last cinema trip was fucking bullshit. The masks, the mostly empty cinema hall, the being guided to your seat, and then to the toilet if needed, but worst of all.....fucking "Tenet".

I thought that was me put off movies and well the cinema anyway for life. But yeah definitely missing it now...

I miss deciding at the last minute on a Wednesday night to send the text to a couple friends to go to the pub at night and watch the game. Always a nice way to break up the week a bit and get out the house.


Usually the plan would be watch the game the taxi home. Usually ended up we stayed till closing time :1orglaugh

I simple shopping (clothes, etc) will cut it as well.. sounds pretty desperate lol

Last night I watched Cosmic Sin later on today I'll be watching Coming To America 2.
Looking forward to Army Of The Dead and that SAS movie and Godzilla vs Kong.

Theatre popcorn - miss that along with an evening where I don't have to cook dinner. Though Covid did make life more interesting when my wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary and we just stood there without an idea where to go or do - so - stayed at home - BBQ steak in the winter and watched a netflix movie by the fireplace.
