I remember hearing him get interviewed on a radio show at around 2am on a radio channel that normally played love songs during the day. This was back in 2002 or so.

I always kind of enjoyed Ed's work. When I was single I worked from the Ed Powers hypothesis - if that scraggly old fuck can get babes, there's hope for everybody. :1orglaugh

I loved the everyman and deep humility that Ed possessed. He was totally relatable to a huge swath of us all. Also his natural and genuine quirky demeanor with his models was something we didn't really see back then - and still don't in many ways.

I'm old enough to have bought his DVDs when that was a thing, he had his own section in my local store. The hottest girls and this totally quirky average dork made a great combination in a way only he could have pulled off.

He 100% put in his time and deserves a vaulted place on the alter of porn but more importantly all the gonzo producers that have emulated his style and stood on his shoulders since.

Sorry this is his last interview but kudos to Ynot for a great homage. :thumbsup
